The blood of Jesus

 Col 1:14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:

(KJV)

The blood of Jesus makes a permanent mark on our lives. There is no salvation outside the blood of Jesus Christ. His blood grants us access to Heaven and to the presence of God. Travelling around the world is amazing. One might be poor and another rich but without a travel visa, it denies the both of them entry. It doesn't matter who you are, you're denied entry into some countries. The visa at that point is more important than even having all the money in the world.

 Ex 12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where ye are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I smite the land of Egypt. {to destroy...: Heb. for a destruction}

(KJV)

The Old Testament is a shadow of the New Testament. The blood of Jesus is the token that protects and saves us. It doesn't matter if we are good people or serve God in one way or another, if we haven't truly accepted Jesus as Lord and personal savior, we are ruled out from enjoying the benefits that the blood is able to offer.

The blood of Jesus rolls away all our sins. The blood signifies the beginning of a new journey. A new life. It doesn't matter that we were enslaved to pornography, it doesn't matter that we were religious, nothing of sin matters after we have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord. The Blood speaks for us.

 In the Old Testament, people made atonement for their sins by sacrificing an unblemished lamb. The lamb had to be clean. All their sins were borne by the innocent animal and the blood of that animal declared their being clean. It might seem a little unfair, it does doesn't it?

What's more painful is if we deny salvation that has been freely given to us. There is no power in Heaven under which man is saved except through Jesus Christ.

    Ac 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

(KJV)

Christ is enough for any family, for any household. If you will only just take him, he is enough for the whole world and all can have him if they will.

 Sin makes the blood of Jesus precious. It is only when you're deficient of a certain need that you begin to value certain things. Money is more precious to a poor person than to a rich man. While the rich man wants to get richer, the poor man just wants money to buy whatever it is they might need at that moment. The poor man wants money to live and survive while the rich man wants the money to increase his status quo.

 The blood of Jesus Christ is precious because of its redeeming power.

1 Peter 1:18-19 King James Version (KJV)

18 Forasmuch as ye know that ye were not redeemed with corruptible things, as silver and gold, from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers;19 But with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish and without spot
