12:00 pm - Midday
It has been exactly 1 hour, 27 minutes and 55 seconds since Drew left the suite with a pout on his face and a ring-less hand. I've spent it curled up on the bed watching 'My Best Friend's Wedding' with Logan. He raided the kitchen and found us a tub of Ben and Jerry's which we've been happily stuffing our faces with. We've managed to eat through half the tub already.
"Make the bride Julia's sister and it'll be like the movie was written about the Draty wedding." Logan says as he licks ice cream off his spoon.
"Yup." I scoop up another spoonful of ice cream. "The story of my life." I bring the spoon up to my lips and begin licking the ice cream off.
"I have an awesome idea you will not be able to reject." He says, sitting up eagerly as he does so. I sit up too, so that my back is pressed against the headboard like his.
"Go on..." I urge him to continue talking.
"Let's have an Ellgan day where we can forget about Katy and Drew, about the wedding and about the fact that you're going to be the maid of honor." He says. Those gorgeous emerald green eyes he was gifted with twinkle with excitement.
"Ellgan?" I repeat. He gives me a 'are you kidding me?' look.
"Is that all you seriously got from what I said?" He questions me incrediously.
"No. Now tell me what Ellgan is." I order.
"It's our ship name." He states in a 'duh' tone.
"Ship name?" I repeat. Again. He sighs exasperatedly.
"It's our names mushed together, as in Ellie and Logan hence the ship name Ellgan." He explains.
"Ohh..." I say as I finally understand what Ellgan is. You wouldn't believe I was actually a straight A student in high school. "I like that idea, forgetting about everything does sound awesome." His face lights up like a christmas tree.
"I was thinking we could go to the beach. Get a nice tan, a few drinks and have a much needed swim in the sea." He lists off the things we could do. I find myself grinning at the thought of not having to endure being with Draty for a whole day. And at the thought of watching Logan complain about how cold the water is as I shove him in.
"Let's do it." I say, eager to get out of the hotel.
"Awesome!" He exclaims excitedly and hops off the bed. I follow suit.
"I'm gonna go put my swimsuit on, be right back." I tell Logan who waves me off. I roll my eyes and head to the ensuite, grabbing my bikini from the closet on the way.
I put my plaid shirt on again but swap my pants for some denim shorts and my vans for some flip flops. I roll up the sleeves on my shirt upto my elbows and tie my hair up into a pony tail. When I exit the bathroom I find Logan dressed in a pair of black beach shorts and a plain white v-neck. He lets his eyes roam freely down my body, taking in what I'm wearing. A smirk forms on his face.
"You wearing the bikini I picked out for you." He says as he brings his eyes up to meet mine.
"Yea. It fits perfectly by the way." I tell him. His smirk widens.
"I knew it would." He says obnoxiously. I roll my eyes and gather all the things I need to take to the beach, placing them in my bag as I do so.
"I packed an extra towel for you and put your iPhone in my bag too." I tell him.
