The Demon's Forever [Meliodas]

Y/N's P.O.V

I walk downstairs to the tavern where everyone is getting breakfast, "What's cooking Banny Bon Bon?" I ask skipping to the bar and sits down on a barstool.

"Banny Bon Bon?" Meliodas questions as he cleans steins, "When did that nickname come back?"

"I don't know, just thought of it," I giggle and a hand slaps down beside me on the bar and I flinch looking up to see Diane in human form, "Hey..."

"How can you act like nothing is wrong?" She asks me and I notice the sadness in her eyes, "And don't tell me it's because you're used to it!"

"It's because she felt nothing towards the real Elizabeth," Meliodas says and I look at me, "But she's sad this time, I can tell by the nickname."

"What?" Diane blinks.

"She calls me Banny Bon Bon when she hasn't seen me for a long time... Like back at Baste Prison, she called me it then and whenever she's sad enough that the Cap'n can't do anything about it," Ban says putting a plate in front of me.

"I'm more nervous than sad... Whenever Elizabeth's memories have returned... It's never been... What's the word... Pleasant," I force a smile, "That's putting it lightly."

"She really doesn't like you... Why?" Diane asks.

I look at Meliodas, "He's why, I thought it was obvious," I say and look at the plate to see bacon, egg and grilled tomato, "Yummy."

"All over a man?!" Diane questions and starts shaking me, "You and the first Elizabeth have had a 3000-year-old battle because of a man?! Not something normal like power?!"

"It's not normal to fight over him? It's been so long I thought it was," I giggle.

"How can you laugh at it?" Diane asks.

Meliodas chuckles and shakes his head, "Even though there have been moments with this Elizabeth we couldn't cope with, we both have good memories in the end... I think she got to Y/N truly when she told her Adam wouldn't hate her," He chuckles and grins, "Even me saying it didn't work."

I start eating my food quietly, "Shaddup, annoying demon," I mumble.

"Hey, hurtful..." Meliodas pouts.

"Why because she said you're annoying?" Ban asks.

"Yes," Meliodas nods.

"Captain," Gowther walks up, "There's somewhere I'd like to stop by... May we?" He tilts his head, "I feel the presence of someone and I can feel the demon's magic power coming from there... Please, he's only a child!" 

"Is it on the way?" Meliodas asks.

"Yes," Gowther nods a couple of times shuffling to him, "Please, it's a little boy! I made him cry by accident, please."

"Alright, we'll go... But back up a bit, you're in my bubble," Meliodas moved his arms to form a circle around him then looks at me and smirks, he goes up behind me and starts groping me, "Though you can be in my bubble anytime you want." 

"Hands off when I'm eating," I say and he releases.

"Afterwards?" He tilts his head and Adam punches him, "Okay, got it."

We make it to the village Gowther wanted to visit, Merlin, Meliodas and I stand back as King, Ban and Gowther deal with the demons. I look around, "I understand why, but I can't believe humans have started to sacrifice their own," I say.

"I know," Merlin says, "Is this okay though? Wasting time going out of the way to a place like this?"

"Gowther was the one that wanted to come here, besides, if because of the demons, the people have been suffering and living like this... Then it's also our duty as Holy Knights to save them," Meliodas says.
