"LIANNA!" Kunot ang noo ni Zholianna ng pagbuksan niya ng pinto ang lalaking kaibigan. Nakangiting mukha ni Kenzi ang sumalubong sakanya na kanina pa nagdo-doorbell. Masama niyang tiningnan ito dahil naistorbo ang kanyang masarap na pagtulog. 6:30AM palang ng umaga at alas otso siya gumigising. Sabagay, ayos na rin at gising na siya, mamaya kasing alas-nuwebe ay may practice sila ni Ajax sa firing.

"What are you doing here? It's very early." Pairap niyang tanong. Tumalikod na siya at si Kenzi na ang nagsara ng pinto. She lives in a condominium. 11th Floor. RM.1103, Raddison's Hotel. The Rizutos have a mansion but she doesn't live there because she doesn't talk to anyone there. She only goes to the mansion when the Mafia Boss is there.

This fifty-storey condominium is actually owned by the Rizutos who are just named after the Raddison. There is a penthouse at the top of the building and that is the Mafia boss's Room.

"Where's my damn helicopter?" Tanong ni Kenzi na nakasimangot. Tiningnan niya ang soot nito at nakapambahay pa ang binata. Napailing siya bago itinuon ang tingin sa tinitimpla niyang kape. "Where is it? Don't ever say that you crashed it!"

"Crashed? Where? In the clouds?" Napairap pa niyang tugon. Si Kenzi kasi ang tipong maingat pagdating sa gamit.

"If that happens, my dad literally going to kill me!" anito. Naisip niya naman ang ama nito. Si Mr. Danielle Salvatore, the Underboss. He is now in charge of the organization when the boss is away, while she and Maxus are not yet ready for that position. Kenzi's father is in a high position and the Salvatores are so damn rich.

"You're overreacting again, Kenzi." irap niya sabay higop ng kape. "Max asked for help last night. He badly needed it."

"For what?" kunot noo nitong tanong.

"Private things, like that. Anyway, don't worry, Maxus will take care of it." Tugon niya na may pagdadalawang isip. Hindi niya sigurado kung maayos bang maibabalik ni Maxus ang helicopter na hiniram nila. Pero wala na siyang pakealam pa. Kaya naman niyang bayaran ito kung sakali.

"Maxus should buy himself a helicopter. I heard he's a multi-billionaire now. He owns many properties and that's a huge money!" napataas ang isang kilay niya dahil doon. Sabagay alam ito ni Kenzi dahil Underboss ang tatay nito.

"You're right. But all of that will only be available to him when he returns. And that will happen on Maxus '23rd birthday; the real birthday. And then when Max turns twenty-four; the fake birthday, will be a grand party celebration. Mafia boss will introduce him to the whole organization." Paliwanag niya kaya tumangu-tango naman ito. Siyempre, kapag Rizuto na si Max iibahin na rin ang petsa ng kaarawan ng binata.Pero sa 23rd birthday ni Maxus, yung totoong birthday nito, doon maita-transfer ang mga ari-arian nito. "Anyway, kumusta naman ang gabi mo? Was she good in bed?"

"Whatever." Natawa siya sa sagot nito. Lumitaw tuloy muli ang magkabilaang dimples niya sa pisngi.

"Why?" Natatawa niya paring tanong. Kenzi is like a bestfriend to her. Sa lahat ng kaibigan niya, si Kenzi talaga ang pinaka close niya. "Ano? Nasayang ang pera mo 'no?"

"No. She's not that bad." Nakangisi nitong saad kaya nangunot muli ang kanyang noo. "Inistorbo mo lang ako kagabi and kuya Shawn scolded me. How could you tell him about the auction?"

She was about to speak but someone rang the doorbell again so she looked at the clock. It's still early for Ajax and her firing lesson. But Ajax is not just a friend but a personal bodyguard too. Also, Ajax's father has been the mafia boss's bodyguard for a long time and his mother is the boss's secretary.
