The next morning, Taehyung alongwith Hoseok, accompanied Eunbi to the airport terminal.
She stood with her luggage and had a pressed smile on her lips as she gazed at Taehyung, who surprisingly had the same expression.
Hoseok felt a little amused as he observed this occurrence and believed thatㅡ that must be their way of reacting to an awkward situation.
But soon, Eunbi broke the silence and hugged Taehyung, "You take care, okay?"
"Yes, mom."
Eunbi pulled back slightly and stared at him, "By the way.. Tae.. You haven't asked me yet, so I was wondering.."
"Hm?"
"Don't you wish to know about.. your dad?" She asked in a soft and conscious voice.
Taehyung's jaw clenched at the question and seemingly annoyance fueled his expression, "I want to have nothing to do with that man."
"Butㅡ"
"Mom, if I ever wish to find out, I will ask you. But right now, I don't.. So, please."
"Okay. Okay. But, there is something I need to tell you-"
"What is it?"
"Um.." Her face seeming a little conflicted, she opened her mouth to speak but hesitated before sighing, muttering in an inaudible manner, "I knew I couldn't do it.."
"Huh?" Taehyung blinked, "What'd you say?"
Eunbi pressed her lips before she reached out into her bag and pulled out an envelope. She pursed her lips and slowly extended it to Taehyung, clearly not ready to hand it over.
"What is this?"
"Something you need to see. But, you can't see it right now."
"Why?" Taehyung asked as he took the envelope in his hand, "What is in this?"
"Ahhh~" Eunbi whined, "Stop being so curious and open it later, okay? At least make sure I'm gone so you can't hold me back, Jesus."
Taehyung scoffed, slightly frustrated in his curiosity, "Hold you back?" Taehyung chuckled before laughing, "Are you really my mom?"
He realized immediately it doesn't sound suitable or funny in any way, "I'm sorry." He silenced himself and his smile dropped.
Eunbi smiled, more worried about Taehyung's feelings than being upset, "It's okay, honey." She softly touched his face reassuringly, "You deserve to know what it is about.."
"It's your mom's letter."

"Are you okay?" Hoseok asked on their way back from airport in the cab. Taehyung just nodded at him before staring out of the window, probably lost in his own thoughts.
Hoseok, being himself, couldn't help but be worried about him. So he put forward his genuine thought.
"How about you stop at my apartment and I make you something nice to eat?"
Taehyung slightly wanted to reject the idea, but he just didn't feel like being alone either. It was complicated, he wanted to be alone, but he was scared of reading the letter by himself.
"Okay." He answered, smiling a little at him.
"Alright then, I'll see what Jimin is upto. Hope he is awake and gone for his lessons."
"Hey, Hoseok," Taehyung asked,
"Yes?"
"You haven't been attending your lessons much either. Is it okay?"
