Gina and Ashlyn managed to escape the chaos at Trade after Nini's first performance. They sent a text to EJ and told him to party on, they knew that EJ was waiting for someone. Ricky was scheduled to go on after Nini and frankly he was beyond happy to see that Gina had left especially with Ashlyn. And it warmed his heart that Nini realized it too.

He loved Nini and at one point it had been romantically but now he just cares for her as a sister, not to mention he was currently in the middle of something, and honestly he wants Nini's slight crush on Gina to end because he knows how it'll end if Gina ever finds out. Which after that little stunt Nini pulled and the eye contact she just might've.

Big Red was clueless as to what actually happened. But what he wasn't clueless to is yet another Ricky and Nini fight which him and Kourtney had to come between. Once again about the curly-headed girl. Big Red understood what a crush felt like so he got Nini but what he didn't understand is why it was such a big deal to Ricky.

Ricky had never even told them the reason Gina left and Big Red assumed that Ricky didn't know it. Which was true, Ricky didn't know the reason Gina had left Salt Lake City all those years ago. So in Big Red's book Gina was in the clear, Ricky just held onto that hatred and if Big Red had to guess he would've guessed that Ricky held onto it because he felt like he couldn't hang on to his mother.

"You don't understand Nini she's a bitch!" Ricky yelled and Nini rolled her eyes.

"News Flash Ricky the world doesn't revolve around you! What's it matter that I find her attractive. It's not going anywhere." Nini sighed at her last words. Gina intrigued her, and she didn't know why. Whenever the other girl was around it's like Nini craved to be next to her and to know more about her. She didn't know what it was so her guess was that she found the girl attractive and when she made the mistake of confessing that to Ricky he freaked. And told her that she couldn't crush on Gina now or ever.

"Kourtney back me up here" Ricky pleaded because he knew Big Red wasn't going to say anything in his favor.

"Hmm nope. Bowen you're on your own. Gina is literally a sweetheart, sure she's intimidating as fuck but her close friends have talked to Carlos and I. Gina has her reasons"

Nini perked up at Kourtney's response and frankly smiled when she saw Ricky's defeated look. He rolled his eyes and walked away from them and onto the stage going to finally perform his set. He needed to talk to EJ, he missed the boy and he knew that EJ was now what he used to be in Gina's life at one point. Like her brother.

"What the hell was that" Ashlyn asked Gina who just groaned into the pillow.

"Who is that Ash? Like that's your ex isn't it?"
Gina questioned and Ashlyn looked at her funny.

"That's not what you were talking about?" Gina let out, now moving to sit up and face Ashlyn.

"No! I couldn't care less about her performance. Your soccer captain came up to me to ask me about you and then she ended up kissing me! ME"

Gina laughed. Of course Laurie had pulled something like that and if she knew Ashlyn, and she did, Ashlyn was overthinking it because she liked the kiss. Although that did leave Gina a little confused since she had seen Ashlyn and Kourtney completely hit it off earlier in the night.

"Wait why do you care about Nini's song?" Ashlyn suddenly clicked it in her head. She just felt like asking the question to see what the other girl would say.

It's not a secret that Gina likes girls, I mean c'mon their whole friend group, which was just EJ at this point, was gay, or at least partially, Ashlyn was still into guys. It's what made them click.

Ashlyn wasn't blind though. She saw the way Nini looked at Gina when she sang her song and if she hadn't known Gina she could've sworn there was some definite feelings there.

"She pulls that little song stunt acting like she knows me. I haven't even talked to her once! Like her song was so detailed as if she really knew me, when she doesn't. I'd like to see her try to even get Gucci off of me"

Gina ranted and frankly Ashlyn got a kick out of it. It was fun seeing Gina worked up over someone, someone that didn't even know her.

"But what ever I bet it's all part of Ricky's plan to get back at me or whatever. So I'll let them rock, cause I'm dead not about to give them the time of day. Cause then it's gonna look like i'm buggin' out and Ricky was never capping about me"

Gina stopped and looked at Ashlyn who just had a smirk on her face. Ashlyn was used to hearing Gina talk with New York lingo and she had even started talking to Astrid and Vanna so she was even more used to it.

"Sorry I went all New York again. But seriously Ricky's friends need to stop trying to mess with my head. Especially since she's your ex girl, I would never do that"

Ashlyn just hummed at the girl. She didn't care if Gina ever wanted to go out with Nini. Ashlyn fucked Nini over not the other way around and a little part of her wanted Nini to break down Gina's walls so Gina could feel more like herself.

EJ and Ricky walked the empty Salt Lake City streets. They had talked all night and had a good time, especially because well after the school staff left Trade they managed to spike their drinks.

So EJ and Ricky both knew that no one would remember that night.

"I really want to ask you to homecoming... but I know you're friends with Gina and I just can't"
Ricky looked down and EJ felt his heart sink.

He loved Gina. That was his little sister and he cared for her so much. But Ricky had his heart beat faster and they both knew they were falling in love and fast.

"We'll both be at the dance just..."

"Not together" Ricky finishes the sentence for him and EJ gave my a flat smile while holding the boys hand.

"Ricky there's so much to Gina you don't know. She moved because she had no other choice. Her dad died"

Ricky's whole mood change. Gina's dad was dead?
He couldn't believe it. And he wouldn't because, her mom and her seemed so fine. No her dad must be on some business trip and Gina must be lying to EJ.

Ricky shook his head and EJ quickly changed the subject. Gina was something they never talked about because Ricky hates her and EJ loves her with all his might.
