The party was in full swing.

The music was loud and Gina was enjoying herself. Of course she brought a change of clothes and right now she was in her favorite pair of Maroon Vans, Black Lululemon Leggings, and a Maroon Nike sports bra.

Which just meant that her abs were in full show and she didn't mind that. EJ had spiked some of the punch but left a batch that was regular, he wasn't going to get his ass kicked by anyone's parents. So Gina definitely felt the slight buzz but it really wasn't anything. There were definitely people at the party who were drunk.

"Gina good job in the game girl" Someone congratulated her and she thanked them before continuing to dance alongside Kourtney.

"Sophomore!" Someone wrapped their arms around her and spun her before setting her down. She just laughed. It had been going on the whole party. She definitely felt the popularity of the after math of homecoming week, but it's okay because she felt at home once again in Salt Lake.

Suddenly her phone buzzed as she was dancing and she stopped to take a good look at it.

October 19, 11:57 pm

Astrid:
Hey, are you okay?
Congrats on the homecoming win too.

Gina:
I'm great!
EJ threw this great party.
We're still partying, THANKS

Astrid:
Are you drunk ?

Gina:
Like a little tipsy

Astrid:
Gina, are you seriously not aware of the day?

Gina:
What?

Astrid:
Your dads birthday is literally in three minutes.

Gina stuff her phone back in her pocket and quickly left the dance floor. She thought no one had seen her, but she was definitely wrong. Ricky and Nini had both seen her rush off and Ricky was closer to her than Nini.

As Gina passed by into the kitchen Ricky grabbed her arm and pulled her back.

"Tell your dad I said happy birthday yea" He smirked and quickly let her go and walked away. Gina shook her head at the boy. It was his own dad's fault her dad passed and yet he stood there making jokes. It's like he didn't even realize her dad had actually passed away.

She passed by him and into the kitchen. She grabbed a cup and filled it with the spiked punch. EJ limited each person to two cups. Gina drank two more on the spot and left to go upstairs. She needed to get away from the party atmosphere know.

She was having such a good time and then Astrid had to remind her about her father. Granted she would've felt horrible if she realized she had forgotten it later, when she was fully sober.

Stumbling up the stairs she got passed the crowd of people congratulating her and past the people who tried to hit on her. She quickly put the pin in to unlock the door EJ had locked for her and entered the room. It was totally a Gina room, EJ had even left a keyboard and guitar in the room because he knew what day it would be when Gina woke up. After all, Gina took the time to open up to both him and Ashlyn, he wanted to show her he really cared. Even by doing all little actions and truth be told Homecoming wasn't the reason he was having this party, he wanted Gina to have a good time before she spiraled like she told them she does every year, and if he was being honest it also meant he got to interact with Ricky.

It was one hundred percent mostly for Gina though, she was important in his life now and he wanted to be that big brother Gina never had. Exactly why he also made sure that only she knew the passcode to the room, so long as Gina remembered to lock it, no one would be able to go into the room.
