The next morning Gina woke up with Nini still in her arms. It put a smile on her face to see the sleeping girl.

Gina could head the faint sound of chatter coming from downstairs. She assumed it was from Nini's moms. She could also smell whatever delicious breakfast the two were making. As the owners of a restaurant the two definitely knew how to cook.

Gina looked down at Nini again and softly placed a kiss on the girls forehead. She was still sound asleep but Gina swore she could see a slight smile tug at Nini's lips after she had done so.

Gina quietly and quickly untangled herself from Nini and went to look for some clothes to borrow. She found a pair of Nike sweats that she had never seen on Nini before, and she decided to take them. Mostly because Nini usually wore jeans or leggings and not sweats. Gina then looked for a shirt but she opened a drawer and saw her white soccer hoodie. She smiled before looking back at a sleeping Nini.

She knew she could've taken it then and there. But she didn't. She loved the way it looked on Nini. And she loved the look on people's faces when they realized that the hoodie said Porter not Salazar-Roberts. It made her happy to see Nini showcase her last name.

Instead she grabbed another East High shirt. One that matched the shorts she had slept in. It was a cheer shirt and the back did have Nini's last names. Gina smiled and thought about it before taking it.
She ultimately decided to wear it because if Nini could show off Porter, she could show off Salazar-Roberts.

Gina closed the drawers and headed into the bathroom to once again shower and brush her teeth. Not to mention do something about her hair, which was incredibly messy that morning.

After Gina had showered and she was dressed, she decided to brush her teeth again just because. When she was in the middle of brushing her teeth, her phone buzzed again.

Mom:
Hi my love. I heard that you stayed the night at Nini's ?

Gina:
Hi mommy
Yeah I did, was that not okay?

Mom:
No of course it was okay.
You know I don't like you in the house by yourself!
Just next time please have her moms be there too.

Gina:
Oh, is that really such a big deal?

Mom:
Not usually but you're dating this girl, so now it is.

Gina:
Yeah mommy, I'm not dating Nini

Mom:
I could've sworn you two were dating!!
All those longing and lingering looks.
Well, sorry for assuming but you two better start dating.

Gina:
Trust me mom, I'm working on it.

Mom:
Hey, Gi?
I'm proud of you.
I know you didn't like the idea of moving back, but i'm so proud of you. And of everything you accomplished.
Especially how good of a soccer player you are, that last game was something!!

Gina:
Thank you mommy.
It means a lot, to hear from you.
Be safe in Colorado!!

Mom:
Always hunny.
Tell Nini I said hi.

Gina didn't hear the bathroom door open slightly and when Nini spoke up she jumped up and dropped her phone. Nini laughed at the frightened girl but soon smiled her way.

"What's got you smiling so early in the morning?"

Gina just continued to smile before picking up her phone and putting it in the pocket of the sweats she was wearing. She turned back to face the mirror and continued to brush her teeth.
