So they had stayed in Gina's room and did anything they could think of. Have a photoshoot. Watch movies. Reminisce. Sing songs. Film videos.
Anything to keep their last day together documented. Gina knew it wasn't going to be the last time seeing Vanna and Astrid, but she knew she had to say goodbye at least until they saw each other again.
At least until Spring Break which now she couldn't wait for. The girls decided they would settle on the other two people who would come with them later. They knew they were bringing Austin, Ej and Ashlyn. After meeting the cousins Vanna and Astrid could agree on one thing, not only did they love them as friends for Gina. They loved them in general.
Gina sat with her two best friends around her room, they had spent it together. Christmas and New Years was amazing for them.

"Gina I swear to god if you don't take down that mistletoe I'm going to kill you!"
Gina laughed at Vanna's proclamations. Ever since Christmas Gina had been wanting to 'put her on' to Rico. Who she had met because of dance.
Vanna knowing herself didn't want anything serious with the kid, although they had flirted a little.
"It's new years Vanna we're supposed to kiss someone"
"Alright then go kiss Nini"
Gina was about to say something back when Astrid walked back into the room and Vanna just laughed.
"Okay so I may have some news!" Astrid distracted them from watching Let It Snow on netflix.
"Can't it wait they're about to kiss" Vanna complained but shut up when Gina hit her with a throw pillow.
Astrid laughed at her best friends and quickly sat in front of them.
"So I've been hiding something..."
"You're not pregnant are you?"
This time both Astrid and Gina hit Vanna with a pillow as she complained.
"What it's a possibility! She's dating a guy now"
Gina rolled her eyes and looked towards Astrid once more. Silently telling her it's okay to continue now, she felt the girls nerves and she didn't know what the situation could be.
"Okay so I did sign with Sony. I've been signed with them a little over five months. And my album comes out next week."
The girls looked at her shocked before literally jumping on her. Of course they were excited, their best friend was releasing an album at the age of sixteen. It was a huge milestone and for them to find out on New Years Eve it was even better.
When they pulled away Astrid filled them in on all the details. How she had kept it a secret from them for so long because she didn't want to jinx it. She mentioned that right before she came into the room again she was on the phone with Austin, telling him all about it. His album was being released in March, ironically the day of their SATs.
"Look my rep just sent me my album cover and track list"
