"Looks like you're having fun, brother. I can smell marriage now. Are you considering it? Just inform me, nang maretrieve ko na ang premyo ko sa deal natin."

Stephen threw a three good stolen shots of Ady and Samuel on the cliff past Serpentine Drive, noong umabot sila malapit sa Maubido, San Roque, with their night drive.

They ended up going to the same place kung saan sila nagpunta para sa first date nila ni Ady. It wasn't actually a date noong nasa relationship pa sila. It was just him and her hanging out, pero ito na ang pinaka malapit sa date na nagawa nila noong mga bata pa sila.

Stephen immediately sat on the chair across from Samuel's desk comfortably. He leaned back, propping up his feet, one over the other, on Samuel's desk, as he snickered at him.

Samuel formed a thin line on his lips as he stared at the three pictures in front of him. He did not comment on how Stephen was feeling so 'at-home'. His trail of thoughts led him to the memories with Ady on New Year's Eve.

"Why? Can't I have some fun and flirt with other people?" tanong ni Samuel bago pinatong ang kaniyang magkasalikop na kamay sa kaniyang mesa.

On the surface, Samuel was all calm, collected, and nonchalant; his voice lacking of interest. But on the inside, gusto na lamang niyang gilitan ng leeg ang kapatid nang matapos na ang gulong ito.

Stephen raised his thick eyebrows at his brother as he questioned him with his famous for mocking face. Samuel was so used to it, he wasn’t threatened anymore.

"Remember your promise to Tita Heloise, Samuel. Just remember... huling bilin?" pang-aasar ni Stephen sa kaniyang Kuya.

Samuel's jaw clenched at the sudden brought back of one of his painful decisions in life. Stephen raised a menacing eyebrow that made Samuel grit his teeth, only seeing red like a enraged bull ready to seize its enemy.

Samuel's eyes raked Stephen's comfortable position, taking in that he's there to ruin his perfect morning. He dropped his sight to the pictures taken that caught his interest.

Adelaide was staring at him on the picture, as he was saying something while looking on the distant moon, shedding them some light.

He remembered clearly what happened after that moment.

Ady leaned in on him. He was taken aback by her hastiness, and one thing he knew next ay magkadikit na ang mga labi nila, at hindi niya na alam kung paano pa niya bibitawan si Adelaide.

He's pretty sure that scene was also captured. As much as he wanted to snatch the picture though, to confirm it, and see for his own eyes the evidence of his love towards the woman; he can't. He stopped himself from doing so dahil magmumukha lamang siyang eager sa paningin ng kaniyang kapatid.

"As if you could flirt with Adelaide, Samuel. She's not just another person—and you made that clear back when we were younger. You have motives, you always had. Just inform me, so I could take what it cost you. Wala akong ititira sa'yo, Kuya, kapag natalo ka." he smirked, his demonic eyes taunting his big brother.

Stephen rose up from the chair and went to sit on his brother's desk. He looked down at Samuel who was sitting on his swivel chair.

"A deal is a deal, and I told you years before that I won." Samuel snapped, his teeth gritting. Nakatingala siya kay Stephen, pinapatay ito ng paulit-ulit gamit ang nanlilisik niyang mga mata.

Nagngingitngit lamang siya sa presensiya ni Stephen sa kaniyang office.

"I never lose, Stephen. Let me remind you that."
