“BITCH, WHERE YOU AT?”

“Doll House, where do you think?” Ady snapped at her.

“YOU FORGOT! I CAN’T BELIEVE YOU FORGOT!” Max yelled at her, “COME ON, FASTER! KUNIN MO NA ANG BRIDESMAID’S DRESS MO DITO! TOMORROW’S MY WEDDING, BITCH!”

Margo raised her head to look up to her boss.

“WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT, BITCH?” sigaw pa ni Max muli sa linya na lalong ikinahalakhak ni Ady.

“Come on, now, don’t be angry.” Ady answered trying to appease her raging bull friend.

Max grunted, “I won’t be angry if you’re here!”

Ady chuckled again, “Okay, be there in ten.”

“Associate,” Ady started to her and winked, “I’m gonna be out for a while.” tapos ay kinuha na niya ang kaniyang bag sa desk at saka ang susi ng kotse niyang nasa key holder.

“Anyway, did you give Simon the check already?” she asked bago pa man siya makaalis sa studio.

Margo’s cheerful face changed to her unusual glum look.

“Hindi pa siya tapos.” she answered in flat tone.

Ady shrugged and smiled at her, “Then, once he’s done.” she answered and immediately went out.

Bueno, ella está aquí ahora.” Gigi started when Ady opened the revolving doors and flashed them a smile.

Camiseta, cerveza, enchiladas.” Daiah snorted, hearing Gigi’s spanish words.

Day really hates Spanish kahit noon pa man. Considering the colonization and all that. She also hates the food, mas prefer ng dilag ang Italian at Japanese cuisine. She also doesn’t speak the language.

Well, Ady just don’t know kung alam niyang halos kalahati ng Filipino words ay derived sa Spanish Language, most specially ang Como Estas, na katumbas ng Kumusta sa Filipino.

Not that Ady’s going to point that out to her, because she should know about it, she’s a damn Editor in chief.

Maxelle’s anger ceased, when she heard Daiah’s words and laughed about it. Everyone in their circle knew how Day despised Spanish, dahilan kung bakit lagi rin silang may debatehan ni Gigi, pero wala silang samaan ng loob.

“The crime dog’s here. ‘Wag ka nang umiyak, Maxelle.” Tina laughed, as Gigi guided Ady towards the couch in the middle.

“Buti nakadalo ka, Day?”
