* Emily in pajamas *

         Lightening flashes across the sky, thunder quickly following after. The wind as picked up, swaying the trees at a more forceful rate. Before Esmeralda left with the rest of the staff for the night, she closes the window with curtains so Emily wouldn't be soaked in the middle of the night.

           Emily tosses and turns in bed, listening to the wind picking up outside. She looks at the clock to see its 1 o'clock a.m. in the morning. She groans and lays in her back.

I wonder if Christian is sleeping soundly in our bed at home in Drysdale...alone. Naked. Emily bites her lip at the thought, Does he miss me? Does he think about my absence as much as I think of his presence?

            Suddenly, the bedroom door squeaks open. Emily groans. She turns, expecting to see Happy standing in the doorway. Instead, the brunette sees Zephyr standing there with a deadly dagger in his hand and an even deadlier look on his face as he holds a finger to his lips. Terror fills Emily, her heart racing.

          It's him! Emily thinks, He's the one whose after Christian and I!

           As Zephyr starts to take a step towards her direction, the brunette screams at the top of her lungs.

          "HAPPY!" Emily screams at the top of her lungs, kicking at the covers. "HAPPY!"

             Zephyr dives for the brunette, who jumps out of bed and trips on the presents on the floor. The coal dark skinned man quickly scrambled to Emily, pinning her down. He spits in her face, growling at her.

            "You could have stayed away!" Zephyr growls at her, "This could have been prevented if you would have just stayed away!"

           "HAPPY! HAPPY!" Emily screams in terror as tears roll down her face.

            Suddenly, Zephyr holds the dagger to her throat. Emily begins to whine, shaking her head.

              "Please don't do this!" Emily whines in terror. "Christian will do any...anything you want! Please don't kill me!"

               Zephyr runs a gentle hand over her hair. "A shame that a beautiful young woman has to die at the hands of me...I am sorry, Miss East. But you should have stayed away from Mr. Taylor."

             The coal dark skinned man raises his dagger and thrust it downward. But a firm hand grabs Zephyr's wrist, yanking the man up. The dagger falls beside Emily's head. The wind blows the curtains upward, lightening flashes brightly. The brunette can see Happy throwing a fist at Zephyr, his back to Emily.

        "Run Emily!" Happy screams as he begins to physically fight Zephyr. "GET OUT OF HERE!"

         Emily grabs the dagger and runs for her life. She tosses it over the railing, rushing down the golden stairwell barefoot. She runs through the living room towards the front door.

         Lighting strikes as the brunette opens the double front doors. She looks up to see large, dark creatures with long horns on the front of their faces. They growl a low rumble, reaching out with the long nose on their faces. Terror fills her as she screams once again, turning to run back into the house.

       "Christian!" Emily screams loudly, crying through her terror. "Christian save me!"

          Emily sees a figure move at the top of the stairs. She ducks under the stairwell to the hallway. Her foot slips on the dagger, the bottom of her foot being slightly cut. The brunette lets out a cry of pain as she limps down the hallway to get away. She escapes into a room nearby. She flips on the light to see the laundry room, a huge pile of clothes and sheets that have been folded. She quickly opens the dryer to see its empty.
