*picture of Christian holding Emily*

Though she pleaded Christian not to, Emily was forced to go back to the mansion. The dark memories flash through her mind as she slowly walks inside the mansion as if it were haunted by ghost. Their few belongings had been delivered and put inside the mansion. Christian was irritated for a multiple of reasons, knowing the government would make it an excuse to not to give them all their things because they need to "check receipts" in case any of it was stolen.

Another reason why Christian is irritated is from not having anyone to wait on him for the first time when he arrived home. It was foreign and lonely to him. The billionaire was thankful that he had his beautiful fiancée there with him.

After Christian managed to get Emily to rest in the living room, he went to his office to make several calls. The billionaire knew he was going to have to do a lot of ass-kissing to get back to where he was once before.

But this time, Christian thinks. I keep everything more private and cut ties with those that can no longer give me gain.

After packing her things, Emily begged Christian to let her stay at the Grand Plaza until they were able to buy a new home. The billionaire wasn't too keen on the idea, forcing Emily to stay with him in the mansion. But after a night full of her screams and terror filled nightmares, Christian knew that she wasn't fit to stay in the dark mansion. So he caved in and packed their things, staying at the Grand Plaza until they could find another home and sell Taylor Manor.

The billionaire, his fiancée, and his secretary went to meetings with new businesses at restaurants, knowing that his office building was off limits for both Emily and himself. Thomas Ringer, a wealthy businessman of more than 60+ years had gave Christian advice immediately after the dinner began. The elderly man told Christian that what the young billionaire needed to do was sell all his property immediately and locate somewhere else that is safe. Christian decided to take the man's advice and began to research cities that could give himself and Emily new opportunities and a fresh start.

*two weeks later*

The courts originally ruled out that Christian was an accessory to numerous counts of murder, putting the billionaire in jail overnight.. But the billionaire's bodyguards all confessed that they themselves had murdered without their boss's say-so many of times and had not reported their actions. Christian was then found innocent and let go. Emily was tried and found innocent. She was given a little under $12,162,000 the Montgomery family. Christian was very upset that they didn't win more in the case but knew that Chad Montgomery had only did that to sway the judge of any charges or further trails into their family affairs.

Immediately after the two's names were cleared the trail was over, Christian quickly had their things packed and loaded in a movers hauling truck. The billionaire sold his mansion for more than $102,000,000 bought out his shareholding in his other private affairs for $200,968,666 dollars. Christian knew that they could never return back to Drysdale, Massachusetts, for if they did, they would only return back to the dangers that waited.

The sound of the private jet's motor hums loudly. Christian makes a mental note to have that checked out before it is put into use again. Emily lays on the couch with her head in the billionaire's lap, napping here and there. He plays with her hair, loving its silky feel.

"When will get married?" Emily yawns, snuggling closer to Christian's thighs.

Christian smirks. "Whenever you want, my love. I am in no rush."

Suddenly, a random thought appears in her mind. "What did Roger Reasons mean when he said that you were his friend's bastard?"

"Where did you hear him say that?" Christian says suspiciously, trying not to.

Emily yawns again. "At the trail."

Christian nods, leaning back. "Roger Reasons confuses me with Brody sometimes."

"But Brody is dead?" Emily continues to yawn.

"I know," Christian says in a small voice, "but that's our old life, Em. We have to let all of that go."

"I wish April could have moved with us." Emily says softly, "I liked her."

Christian smirks. "Yeah, she was the best secretary I've ever had...I guess it's because she's the first secretary that I didn't sleep with."

Emily looks up at him with narrowed eyes. "Thank you for the commentary, Christian."

                    "Sorry." He frowns.

Christian pulls Emily up, laying down beneath her. The brunette cuddles her fiancé as he tries to sleep.

"Where are we going again?" Emily asks with an eye watering yawn.

"Back Hills, Tennessee." Christian says in her hair. "The town is literally next door to Wilder, Kentucky."

Emily slowly nods, her eyes shutting tightly. "Do you think we can get another island?"

"One thing at a time, Em." Christian says a tad bit annoyed. "One thing at a time."
