*Jaxon's nursery above*
Two days after Emily gave birth to Jaxon, they were released from the hospital. The ride home was smooth, putting little Jaxon and Emily to sleep. Christian could not stop holding his son's feet, adoring how they fit in the palm of his hand.
When they arrive at the mansion, Christian shakes Emily awake. She whines but manages to stir around. Christian makes sure grab Jaxon in his grey car seat and walks to the front porch with Emily in his other arm.
"I'm tired." Emily sighs softly, nuzzling her head into the crook of Christian's neck.
"I'll let you sleep." Christian kisses her cheek, "You've barely slept in weeks."
Once they are inside, Moxie and Marshall run up to them. Emily scratches begins their ears and pats their hips. Christian rolls his eyes at the animals as he makes his way to the living room. Emily gives him a questionable look.
"What are you doing?" Emily asks confused.
"I want to give him a tour of his house." Christian says as he unbuckles the infant from his portable car seat, "I don't want him to feel like a stranger in his own home."
Emily rolls her eyes at Christian as she begins to head up the stairwell. "Can we order Chinese?"
"Yes!" Christian looks down at his son with a small smile, "Good Morning, J.T.!"
Jaxon lets out a small whine, stretching out as he sleeps. Christian carefully places the tiny infant into his muscular arms, as if the baby were made of glass. He holds Jaxon to his chest as he slowly stands to his feet, eyes on his son the entire time.
"Okay..." Christian nods slowly, "I made it this far without breaking you."

After Christian had showed Jaxon all the rooms from downstairs, the billionaire carefully made it up the stairwell with his son tight to his chest. He almost wished he would have left Jaxon in his car seat. But the billionaire made it safely up the stairwell to the second floor of the house. Christian decided that he'd show Jaxon more of the house later.
Christian heads to Jaxon's nursery. He nods over to the bedroom he and Emily share. The infant listens to the billionaire's strong heartbeat as he sleeps.
"That's where your Mom and I sleep." Christian says with a smirk, "In a bed, like where you were made."
The billionaire suddenly gets a thought, arching his brow. Where did we make Jaxon? In bed? The shower?
"This is where you'll be staying." Christian walks into the wilderness themed nursery, a grand mountain painted on the wall. "It was going to be a jungle theme but some woman Emily met convinced her otherwise and I had to send everything back."
Christian suddenly feels ridiculous talking to Jaxon as if he could understands his words. He puts the infant down in his crib, taking a blanket and putting it over half of his body. Christian stands there for a long time, staring down at the innocent, sleeping baby. His index finger tickles the infant, rubbing the soft skin on the back of his hand. Suddenly, Jaxon grabs Christian's index finger tightly. The child's strength shocks Christian.
"Maybe you're a little bit like me." Christian says to the baby in a low voice, pulling the green beanie over the infants little ears. "But everything else came from Emily."
Christian looks over his shoulder at the door, seeing no one. The billionaire then leans down and kisses the baby's hand, the odor of new baby smell waves over Christian. He rubs a hand over his son's covered head before turning on the baby monitor. The billionaire manages to get free from the infant and walks out of the nursery feeling as if he shouldn't leave Jaxon alone all by himself to get lonely.
