As Christian lightly sprints through the halls of the hospital, he frantically searches for room 203. The nurse was going to escort him but he took off running after he was informed that his child had already been delivered. But as he turns a corner, he sees the door across the hall with the number 203. He quickly goes to the door and steps into the recovery room.

When Christian steps inside the room, a wave of the the new baby smell that fills the room fills his nostrils. A small smile appears on his lips as he closes the door behind him. He catches a sight of Emily in a hospital bed, her eyes closed. The billionaire smiles at this, glad to see her resting. Then a little bundle that moves inside the plastic bed moves. A small whine fills the room.

Christian slowly makes his way to the small bed where the infant is laid. The billionaire's hands shake as his child comes clearer to his sight. He stands above the baby, looking down at the infant's scrunches up face and blue beanie. The baby's little mouth smacks as it scrunches up its face, letting out a squeal.

The sound wakes Emily. She looks over to see Christian staring down at their newborn son. She smiles at them, wondering if Christian had ever held a baby before.

"He's not going to bite." Emily jokes.

Christian's eyes shoot up at her, panic in his eyes. "You're awake."

"Have you ever held a baby before?" Emily says with a curious smile.

Christian narrows his brows, his eyes on his newborn. "I...I don't think so."

The brunette nods. "Okay, let me show you."

Emily takes their son out of the plastic bed, being gentle and holds his head up. The baby scrunches up its face and whines. Christian's heart races at the sight.

"What are you doing? Is that hurting him?" Christian says concerned.

"No, he's just fussy." Emily looks up at Christian with a sly smirk, "Like his dad."

"Keep it up, Emily." Christian says, "Just keep it up."

The brunette positions the baby to be passed. "Grab the chair and hold out your arms."

The billionaire does as told and grabs the chair from behind him, pushing he baby bed aside. He nervously holds out his arms. Emily gently places the infant in her lovers arms, adjusting Christian so he would hold the child properly. The billionaire is stiff as he holds the baby in his arms. But to his surprise, the baby quits fussing and calms down. Emily smiles at them.

"I think he already knows who you are." Emily says softly, grinning ear from ear. "He's so beautiful, isn't he?"

Christian doesn't answer as he stares down at the infant that cuddles to his chest, listening to his father's rapid heartbeat. Emily's words did not reach the billionaire's ears, only the sound of her voice that is a distant echo. Christian furrows his brows at the infant. He had expected something else than what is before him. Something that resembles himself, something to look away from. But as he stares down at his newborn son, all he sees is innocence and utter helplessness. It touches somethings deep inside of him that he tried to hide for so long, bringing tears.

"This is mine?" Christian says softly, taking in every piece of his son's face. "I made this?"

Emily snorts. "Well, you didn't exactly make it by yourself."

The billionaire glares at her with annoyance before looking back down at his child. The newborn stretches in his arms, letting out a whine. Emily chuckles at Christian's reaction.

"He's just stretching." Emily says, "You're doing fine."

"How can someone like me ever make something so innocent and helpless?" Christian says in a low, shocked tone of voice.

"What were you expecting?" Emily bites her lip, "A grown man?"

"A demon." Christian arches a brow, "But he's not."

"You're not your father, Christian." Emily slowly nods, putting her hand on Christian's wrist. "You can give our son the love you always deserved. You don't have to be like Hayman. It's not genetic."

"And here I thought he would be." Christian rubs his thumb over the baby's cheek, "What did I do to deserve him?"

"That's what I thought when I first saw him." Emily says softly, "That's what I thought when you first kissed me."

Christian looks up at her, cradling the infant to his chest even more. He smiles at her with small tears in his eyes. Emily gently helps him rock the baby, showing him ways to hold his child.

"I was thinking about calling him Grey Gene." Emily says as she pulls the bundle of blankets out of the infants face. "Or Jackson but with an X. Jaxon East Taylor."

Christian smirks. "Or we could call him Jaxon Grey Taylor."

The brunette smiles. "I think you just named our baby, Honey."

The billionaire slowly nods, smiling warmly down at the infant. "Yeah, I think I did too."

Hey readers! So what did you think of this chapter? I was trying to give my readers what they want and give the sex of the baby and its name. In my past stories, I had the main female protagonist give birth to a baby girl but I wanted to switch it up cause of Christian's dark past and for him to break the family chain while he has a chance to.
