Carol saw the Avengers and paired her little information with them in her mind. She shook hands with Steve, or so they call Captain America. He seemed nice. Bruce was polite. Peter seemed a little hyper. Then again he looked twelve. Natasha did even smile.

"What's your name?"

"Carol Danvers."

When everyone was inside, Thor came over to talk to her.

"Pop tart?"

"Sure, never had one though."

"They are my favorite!"

Carol tried the strange looking food. It tasted really good.

"Mmm! These are sooo good!"

"See? Everyone says I'm crazy."

"Sounds like Stark over there."

"He's actually crazy."

The two eventually ate the entire box. By then it was dinnertime. Vision was cooking some soup, while Wanda made salad and bread. Everyone sat down and started eating.

"Tony, did you hear about Ross?"

"That idiot, yes."

"He thinks he owns everything. That bastard."

Peter climbed the ceiling, webbed a piece of bread and ate it. Carol was confused. The Avengers really did do some strange things.

"Who's turn is it to pick a movie?" Tony asked.

"Mine! It was mine!" Clint sound like a child.

"No, it was Sam's!" Bucky said.

"What is it?"

"A New Hope."

Tony turned on the T.V, put in the movie, and hit play. The Star Wars theme played, and the credits started. Carol had never seen this movie., but it looked interesting. The movie ended and half the Avengers were asleep. Everyone started to shuffle to their rooms. Tony showed Carol to hers and left. It was a decent size including a bathroom and a window. She sat on her bed, until a knock at her door startled her.

"It's not much, but it comfortable." Thor smiles.

"Better than Hala by far."

"Well if you need anything, my room's down the hall."

"Thanks."

Thor left and Carol put her pajamas on, which surprisingly fit her, and climbed into her bed. That's when the nightmares started. A flash of blue and then darkness.

"Where is the cube?"

"I won't tell you anything!"

"I'm sorry I have to do this."

The figure shot her, and all she felt was emptiness. Carol woke up in sweat, her heart beating faster then before. She checked the clock. 4:30 am for Earth. She got out her bed, quietly trying not to wake anyone, and headed to the training room. Punching something helped her calm down.

"Can't sleep?"

"Yup."

"Need a sparing partner?"
