Thor ran towards Nightmare, lightning surrounding him. His eyes glowed blue, and thunder was heard in the distance.
"I won't let you win."
"Then you will die."
Thor punched Nightmare in the face using all his rage. Nightmare swung his fist into Thor's face but he caught it.
"I'm done fearing you."
Thor punched him in the stomach, adding a little bit of lightning to the fight.
"I won't let you get in my head. I am not the weak god you first fought."
"You are weaker."
"You are the weak one. As long as fear is present, you take the minds of innocent people."
Thor threw him into a wall, causing the scene around him to return to New York. Thor struck him with lightning, and punched him again.
"I won't let you win!"
Thor grabbed his hammer, and slammed it into Nightmare's head.
"You...will....alwa...always...lose..."
Nightmare stopped moving, and Thor collapsed on the ground.
"THOR!!!"
Carol ran to his side, hoping he wasn't dead. Thor lifted his body to a pile of rubble and laid down.
"I'm fine, just exhausted."
"Thor, your side."
Carol pointed to his torso, which was bleeding badly.
"It's just a wound. I'm fine."
"You need medical attention ASAP."
"No Carol, I'm fine."
He stood up slowly, and limped to the rest of the group. They managed to kill Galactus, and were waiting for Carol's return.
"You found Thor."
"He needs medical help pronto."
"I am fine."
They tried to help him, but he resisted.
He limped to the quinjet, and sat down. Carol sat next to him, trying to convince him to get help.
"Please Thor."
"Fine. I will only allow you to help me."
He took off the top part of his armor, reveal a nasty wound. Carol grabbed the first aid kit and set it to the side. She cleaned it out, added some rubbing alcohol to it, and bandaged it. She had to wrap it a few times because it kept bleeding through.
"You should be fine now."
"Yeah."
"Hey Carol, did you notice anything weird about the battle?"
"No, why?"
"Never mind."
"Tell me."
"Nightmare came back. He tried to get a hold of my mind, but I killed him."
"Galactus tried to break free again, and then I chopped his head off."
Carol rested herself on Thor listening to the ship. Thor smiled a little bit, but he was extremely exhausted.
"Welcome back to the compound."
"You two look like hell."
"Aliens will do that to you."
