"You two look happy."
"When will you not wake me up?"
"Never."
Thor didn't want to move or it would wake Carol.
"Have a good day lord of spiders."
"You too Sparkles."
Peter grabbed his backpack and headed out the door. Thor looked out the window, watching Peter swing out of the compound.
"Where's Goose?"
"Currently eating your entire collection of vintage 70's cars."
"I am going to kill that cat."
"She's not a cat. She's a flerken."
"Same thing."
"A household cat doesn't swallow cars like they're cat treats."
Tony ran out of the living area with his suit on. Thor picked Carol up and tucked her into his bed. He left the room quietly, not waking her.
"You look like you've been hit by a train."
"You've just described me on a daily basis."
"I wouldn't put it past you."
"Well my life is a train wreck."
Thor sat down on one of the stools, and continued to talk with Steve.
"How's Peggy doing?"
"Her and Bucky have a feud going on. None of them want to lose the chess match, which has been going on for about four hours now."
"That's too long."
"You'd think so. But none of them have kept track of time."
"We could burn this place to the ground and they wouldn't notice."
"When's the baby due?"
"Sometime next month."
"That's not that far away."
"Time goes by way too fast."
"Yeah. I agree with you. It seems like just yesterday we fought Thanos."
"That was almost nine years ago."
"It's been that long?"
"Yup."
"That makes me and Bucky about 118 years old."
"That makes me about 5 thousand years old."
"Now you're just bragging."
"I'm a god."
"You look like you're in your mid thirties."
"You look like you're 25."
"Time doesn't like us."
Thor laughed at Steve's words. Time didn't like them.
"I've just realized. I am older than all your ages combined."
"How was the Dark Ages?"
"It was great."
"I was trying to make an old joke."
"None of your old jokes would work."
"It works with Peter."
"Cause he's 26."
"You ruined it."
"Sorry I'm older than dust itself."
"I spent most of my life in ice."
