Thor looked around the battlefield. All he saw was smoke and flames. His friends were missing, and he couldn't find them.

"ANYONE? DOES ANYONE HERE ME?" Thor shouted.

There was no response but the crackling of fire. He eventually saw his fallen teammates a few yards from him. Steve's shield was split in pieces, along with Tony's suit. They were both covered with rubble, and they had gotten smashed. He ran to Carol who seem to be unconscious. She suddenly opened her eyes and gasped haunting words.

"You could have saved us."

Thor jolted up, his heart racing along with a pounding headache. This had been the third time he has had the same dream. He didn't tell anyone about it, not wanting to scare them. His mind was still racing, playing his dream over again. The Avengers had a mission today, in Sokovia. At least what was left of it. Rumors of Doctor Doom had been all pointing to that location. He slowly pulled himself out of his bed, looking at the clock. It was only 5:30, but he was already awake.

------------------------------------------------------

"Does anyone have any last complaints before we go?"

"Yes, can I have Bucky's arm?"

"No. It's mine."

"Avengers, go blow some crap up."

"He's not as good as Cap, but it works."

Thor looked at the ground nervously, as if something bothered him. Carol noticed, and grabbed his hand.

"You look nervous, what's the issue?"

"Nothing important."

"Come on buddy, you'll be fine."

She smiled at him, and followed Steve out of the quinjet. Thor thought he saw something run past him, but there was nothing. He shook his head, ignoring it. The mission continued, searching for anything unusual. A shot rang out, almost hitting Tony.

"Sniper, get down!"

Everyone ducked behind something, but Thor was too late. A bullet grazed his hand, which started bleeding. He ignored it, eyeing the sniper.

"Nat, hand me your gun."

"Heads up Sparkles."

Thor shot the sniper and handed Natasha her gun back. He looked at his hand, which was covered in dry blood. The wound was fairly large, resembling a giant scratch. He thought nothing of it, and joined the rest of the group in the half destroyed bunker. It was dark so Tony turned on his brights.

"If you see anything move other than us, kill it."

Thor headed into the darkest part of the building, moving past pieces of concrete. The temperature suddenly dropped, making him concerned. He felt the hairs on his neck stand up, causing him to turn around. He saw nothing, so he continued. He heard whispering in the distance, and started to hold his axe closer to him. A shadow ran past him, which really made Thor nervous.

"Is anyone there?" He hoped no one would answer.

"You're time has come Thor, son of Odin."

He turned to see a man in a creepy looking mask. He couldn't get a good look, which made it worse.

"Who the hell are you?"

"I am Nightmare, or I should say, your nightmare."

Thor closed his eyes, and saw darkness. He saw a light in the distance, and walked towards it. The scene changed into Wakanda. Thor saw his friends looking at the ground. As he got closer, they turned to dust, and Nightmare appeared.
