"Thanos is the only one alive?"

"Yes. He should be easy to defeat though."

"Last time I had to fight him, he temporarily killed me."

"This time should be way easier."

"Should..."

"He has the Infinity Stones."

"We brought them back to the proper timelines didn't we?"

"Yeah, but yet he still has them."

"Wait a minute. When I fought Malekith, he had the Reality Stone. Now Thanos has it?"

"I see your point. There is more than six Infinity Stones here. Red Skull had the Tesseract when Bucky shot him in the head."

"This is going to mess with the timeline. The Ancient One warned me about this."

"What are we going to do now?"

"Steve, do you have the Tesseract with you?"

"Yup. I don't want a stray alien to use this against us."

"Thor has the Aether?"

"Yeah."

"Are those the only stones here?"

"I far as I've seen."

"We need to get the Infinity Gauntlet as soon as possible, or he will snap our universe out of existence."

"All while keeping the Aether and Tesseract away from him."

"Good plan guys, but Thanos is right over there."

The group turned their heads to the right and saw Thanos sitting on a pile of rubble. He had a smile on his face, which concerned them.

"He still looks the same after all of these years."

"A little more blue though."

"He keeps changing his skin color."

"When the Chitauri attacked New York, his skin was a bright pink."

"Can we focus on the plan please?"

"Sure, but I wanted to have a dance off."

"Quill please stop talking. You are single handedly lowering my IQ right now."

The Avengers turned back to Thanos, who hadn't moved an inch.

"Ready to kill this grape a second time?"

"He started this mess, and we are going to end it."

Thor summoned his axe and hammer, while Steve grabbed his shield. Everyone was prepared to face the last standing enemy. 

"Couldn't live with your failure could you?"

"Your planet is greedy. I will correct the mistakes of your people. Then I will wipe out your universe, creating a new one."

"I guess we will have to kill you a third time."

"So be it."

Thanos stood up from the pile of rubble, placing his helmet on his head. He threw his sword at Steve, but it missed.

"You are blinded by greed Thanos."

"I will make your planet suffer like mine did."

"If we can't protect our planet, you can be damned sure we'll avenge it."

Tony blasted Thanos with his repulsors, slightly hitting Thanos in the arm.

"Does anyone else want to pitch in or do I have to do all the work?"
