"Dad?"
"Yes?"
"Do you still remember her?"
"I have never forgotten her. I wish I could have traded lives with her."
Thor looked at the ocean waves colliding into the rocks. He remember the time him and Carol would sit on this very rock, watching the sunset. A single tear fell from his eye, hitting the ground. It had been years since that day but he could still see her in his arms.
"Are you okay?"
"I'm fine."
Over the years he had trouble sleeping. Tony had recommended sleeping pills but those never worked. The nightmares kept returning and Carol wasn't there. None of the Avengers could ever know his true pain. He listened to the wind as he watched the sun fall below the horizon.
"Can you hear her?"
"Who?"
"Carol. She calls me home..."
Thor felt a sense of peace. His friends stood behind him, along with Chris. They watched as a bright glow cover the god of thunder.
"She calls me home..."
Thor faces his friends, a smile on his face. Thor watched as the glow engulfed him and his friends disappeared.
"Thor?"
