Carol was excited for today. Thor was taking her on a date, which he had kept a secret until the previous day.

"Do I look okay?"

Natasha and Wanda were helping her pick out an outfit.

"He will love this."

"I agree with you Nat."

They had picked out a dark blue dress, with red flowers on it. Carol looked at her appearance, smiling just a little.

Thor paced his room, feeling nervous about the date. Thoughts were racing in his mind, as he stared at his appearance in the mirror. He was wearing a smooth black suit with polished black shoes.

"I can do this," Thor whispered to himself, "Everything will go as planned."

He walked out of his room waiting for Carol to show up. He checked his watch, which read 7:30. He looked up, immediately lost of words. Carol walked towards him, giving him the biggest smile he had ever seen. She looked breathtaking. The blue in her dress made her eyes blend out. He couldn't process that this was his date.

"Wow...You look beautiful..."

"You look handsome Thor," Carol smirked, "I love the choice of color."

Thor took her hand, looking cheerful. They walked out to Thor's car, which Tony had given to him as a gift. Thor opened the passenger door, letting Carol in. He then sat in the drivers seat, closed the door, and started the car. He drove downtown, looking for the restaurant he had planned to take Carol to. He finally found it, and parked the car. He got out, opening Carol's door, and she took his hand.

"I didn't know New York had Rae's here."

"Neither did I."

Thor opened the door, letting Carol go in first. He made reservations for them, following the waiter to their table, and sitting down. They looked at their menus, deciding what to eat.

"They have my favorite food."

"The Sirloin Steak looks good."

The waiter came back, giving them their drinks, and taking their order.

"What do you guys like to eat?"

"Can she get the Black Forest Sandwich, with a side salad."

"Okay, and for you?"

"I will take the Sirloin Steak with a side of soup."

"Okay, will that be all?"

"Yes, thank you for asking though."

The waiter left, leaving them to talk.

"Thank you for taking me out on a date."

"No problem, plus I always wanted to."

Carol laughed, making Thor less nervous. He took a sip of his drink, not knowing what to say.

"How's your friend Maria?"

"She's doing well, her daughter is working with S.W.O.R.D now."

"She grew up fast. I remember you telling me about when she was little."

"She's the one who gave me the colors of my suit."

"She has a good choice in fashion."

"You're not wrong. I don't think anyone else would have made it look that good."

They eventually got their food, which smelled really good. Thor took one bite and was amazed.

"This is the best steak I have ever had."
