Chapter 26

Thor woke up feeling extremely tired. He opened his eyes and saw a blur of white. 

"Where the hell am I?"

"Oh good you're awake. I thought you had died."

"What did you do?"

"Stabbed you with a tranquilizer. It clearly worked."

"Where's Carol? Does she know I'm here?"

"She's in New Asgard with Pepper. She doesn't know you're here though."

"I'm leaving then."

"Hold on buddy, you're not going anywhere."

"You can't stop me."

Thor started to rip the IV's out of his arms when Steve came in the room. Both Tony and Steve had to use their combined force to hold him down.

"Coulson, we need backup! God of thunder is trying to escape!"

"All S.H.I.E.L.D agents head to level four, medical bay. We got a code blue!"

After a few minutes of holding Thor down, the team managed to put him in superhuman restraints. 

"LET ME GO!!"

"Not going to happen Sparkles."

"Why are you keeping me here?"

"You don't remember anything?"

"I do now. I'm an idiot."

"You think? You screwed yourself over."

"She's going to hate me now."

"We are trying to help you."

"Nothing could ever fix my mistake."

"We could ask Wanda to erase your memory, but that's not going to do you any good."

"I'm pretty sure it would."

"That would solve your problem, not anyone else's."

Thor stared at his hands, thinking about his mistake. 

"Does Carol know?"

"No. We haven't told her anything. We don't want her to stress. She has enough to deal with."

"What am I going to do?"

"Stay here until we figure out the solution."

"I need to fix my own problem."

"Not anymore buddy."

Tony left the room, leaving Thor to cursed under his breath.

"Where is Thor?"

"With Tony. They are dealing with Loki."

"What did he do this time?"

"Tried to break into the S.H.I.E.L.D headquarters."

"He's done that more times than I can count."

Carol was still worried about Thor, but she trusted what Pepper had said. She hadn't seen him since he left on the mission. That was a week ago. 

"You should rest. You'll need it."

"Thank you Pepper."

"You're better than Tony. The only thing he talks about is his suits."

"I wouldn't be surprised. He did make a collection of them at one point."

"See you tomorrow."

"Hopefully I can actually sleep."
