Trigger warning: Description of a seizure, talk about death (let me know if I missed something)

Long Chapter Enjoy!

“Logan what do we do!?” Patton cried in terror as they watched Roman. At some point while Roman slept he had shifted back into his human for, the others had as well. They had all been jolted from their sleep. From Roman crying out. Now they watched in horror as Roman’s muscles seized up on him. His body spasming in weird ways.

Logan doesn’t even answer Patton. He doesn’t know what is happening. He doesn’t know what to do.

Emile seeing that all three of the pack leaders were out of commission jumped in as the pack doctor. “He’s having a seizure. Everyone back up and give him space.” Emile order and jumped in. “Remy help me turn him onto his side so his airways stay clear.” Rmey nodded and jumped in to help. They worked together and got the man on his side.

“What now?” Remus asked as he watched his brother. Even he could barely stand to look at it. Patton had long ago buried his face into Logan’s chest, so he didn’t have to see.

“We let it run, it's coarse. There is nothing we can do.”

They all waited in anxious silence until finally. Roman’s body relaxed. Roman was left panting as he finally felt control come back to his body. That had been awful. He had been trapped within his own body with no ability to control it. It had left him with a feeling of helplessness that he didn’t like.

“We-” Roman gasped between breaths, “we need to get to Virgil. He needs me.” Roman had tears falling down his face. “He needs me. He-” Roman shook his head, “I need him.” Roman’s eyes widened. As even more tears cascaded down his face. “He’s being taken from me!”

“What do you mean kiddo.” Patton said gently.

“He’s dying.” Roman said brokenly. He could feel it. He could feel their mate bond slipping away. Falling from his grasp. As he just sat there unable to do anything about it.

Virgil blinked open his eyes to find a very different environment around him. The cold concrete floor had been replaced with a soft white couch. The dark and foreboding room was gone replaced with a softly lit room with fairy lights sprinkled on the ceiling. The silver bars were nowhere to be seen. Virgil sat up surprisingly he wasn’t stiff with pain. He actually felt quite content. Then fear coursed through him.

Where was Molly!?

He started to get up to go find her when he heard a melodic voice fill the room. “I know you are worried about her dear, but she is safe for now. That filthy worm has left the room. I wouldn’t take you from her if she was in any immediate danger.” Virgil’s eyes snapped to where the voice was coming from to see this woman sitting on a white chair nearby. Virgil gaped at the woman. She was beautiful. She had long flowing black hair that was as dark as the night. Her face was a purely white color that seemed to glow like the stars. She wore a soft lavender dress that even while sitting seemed to make her look like she was floating. What really caught Virgil’s attention however was her eyes. They were a bright purple color. They held so much power and authority and yet were soft and caring.

Virgil was so busy looking at her he didn’t notice her stand up and walk over to him. She gently cupped his face in her hands and stared intently at him.

Too close. Virgil thought as he finally regained his composure and pulled back. “Where am I? Who are you?”

The woman smiled, but it was a sad almost broken look, as she pulled away. “Of course how rude of me. You don’t know me.” She said sadly. “I am Selene. I am the Moon Goddess.”
