“What… but how… when… you…?” Virgil stuttered as he looked at Molly in shock. “You died in my arms!” He said pushing himself into Roman for support. He was confused and scared. He felt like he couldn’t believe what his eyes were showing him.

Molly laughed awkwardly and scratched the back of her head, “I’m not really sure what happened, but according to the others you did some ‘glowy shit’ that saved me. I guess this is one of the perks of being friends with Her son.” Molly said. She didn’t want to be too specific considering it was Virgil’s information to share.

“So I did help? I thought I had failed, I thought someone was leaving me again.” Virgil said, sounding broken. Roman squeezed his shoulder reassuringly.

“I’m not going anywhere Virgil.” She said gently.

Virgil gave a slim smile in response, but the a question came to mind. He turned to Roman “How did you guys ever find us?”

Logan stepped in to answer, “Well Roman could sense the general location of where you were thanks to the mate bond between you two, but we were given some assistance.” He stated glancing at Molly. “Molly left us a note explaining what she had done and roughly where you two would be.”

Virgil looked at Molly slightly confused, “If you were going to do that why didn’t you just ask them for help in the first place.”

“Well for one thing, and I admit this willingly. I’m an idiot. For another thing I have always had to take responsibility for everything. I have always had to do things on my own. I thought I had to fix my problems myself and not let anyone help. But that was so stupid, and you ended up getting hurt because of me.” She wrapped her arms around herself. “I’m sorry I was being selfish. I don’t know what I was thinking honestly.” Xel tried to comfort Molly, but Molly just shrugged them off. “I think I kinda got what deserved.” A broken sound came from her almost like she was trying to laugh but it came out wrong. “Maybe you shouldn’t have saved me.”

Virgil pulled away from Roman and walked up to Molly and pulled her small frame into his chest. She shook in his grasp slightly as she tried to calm down.

“I’m so sorry!” She cried.

“Molly,” Roman said, walking up to them. Molly flinched slightly. She knew he was probably furious at her for taking his mate away, for lying to them, putting his pack in danger. She had been avoiding talking to him ever since she had woken up from, well dieing. She pressed further into Virgil, but turned her head so she could look at Roman. “Molly, it’s alright.” Molly froze in shock not having expected that response. “While I wish you had done it differently. I can understand what you did. The people you care about were in danger and you were willing to do anything to protect them. I-” Roman looked at Virgil with a soft expression in his eyes. “I can understand that.”

The room fell into a comfortable quiet as they let Molly collect herself.

“So, I like, hate to break up the mood here babes, but I’m curious. Can we like get an explanation for the weird powers and stuff you two seem capable of?” Remy stated.

Xel, Zaylea and Ash all laughed.

“What?” Remy said defensively.

Xel smirked as they walked over to the sink and turned on the faucet. Their eyes glowed purple, but not even close to as brightly as Virgil’s or Molly’s. The water glowed purple and they lifted the water making a swirling orb out of it hovering in the air. Zaylea followed Xel’s example as she walked over to the kitchen window and opened it. Her eyes glowing purple as a purple tree branch came in through the window. Ash closed his eyes and a huge gust of wind came barreling in through the window and rustled the leaves on Zaylea’s tree branch.

Molly laughed at the others gaping faces as she watched her friends be dramatic. “Let’s just say it’s not just Virgil and I. While me and Virgil are definitely the strongest.”

“Hey!” Xel said defensively.

“You know it’s true.” Molly stated.

“Wait, wait I am so lost.” Roman stated.

“Virge you wanna explain?” Molly asked assuming it wasn’t really her place to share.

Virgil nodded, before he went into full depth explaining everything he knew, and when he did get a little lost Molly stepped in to fill in the blanks. When he finished he was met with shocked silence.

Roman was the first to break it, “Holy shit! My mate is a freaking Demigod!”

“That explains so much!” Patton stated.

“It does alleviate some of the confusion in regards to Roman submitting to you despite being an Alpha himself. It makes sense that the Moon Goddess’ son might have a slight upper hand in terms of authority.” Logan staed.
Virgil gave a small laugh then he paused, “So what happens now?”

“Now,” Roman stated, taking Virgil's hand in his. “We become a real pack.”

________

Not long after they had a huge ceremony, they all shifted together under the full moon. As wolves they accepted each others sent, and Roman and Virgil established themselves as the Alpha’s. They all ran together as a group through the woods as a single unit. Then to seal the pack bond they howled in celebration together. After that it was time to party. They played and ran around together. Just happy to finally be together as a pack at last. They all realized they had been missing something before and now that they had found it they felt complete.

As Virgil was running around through the woods something caught his eyes. He stopped suddenly, and looked out into the woods at what he saw. Standing there in an ethereal light was two women both dressed in flowing dresses that floated through the breeze. Virgil’s eyes flashed brightly seeing them. He recognized them. As they both smiled gently at him. Before fading away. He puffed out his chest proudly before tilting his head back and letting a howl fill the forest. The rest of the pack joining in.

His pack.
