“Virgil, who is this?” The two long lost friends looked up to see a very uncomfortable Roman. “You know her? And she is your sister?”

Virgil pulled Molly in tightly almost like he was afraid she would vanish again, “This is Molly, and not by blood, but yes she is my sister.” Virgil stated looking back at Molly who was smiling softly at Virgil.

Molly decided she wanted a turn explaining things, “Me and Virgil grew up together in the orphanage. We did everything together, from the time I got there when I was six. Speaking of, how’s Mary doing? Does she know your here? If not she must be worried sick. I can only imagine how she reacted when I vanished. If you disappeared on her too, I'd think she would have a heart attack or something.” Molly said innocently.

Virgil looked at Roman and cringed. He didn’t want to talk about his personal life in front of him. He didn’t want to talk about it at all, but Molly deserved to know the truth. To know what Virgil did. Just… Not yet.

He gently picked Molly up and repositioned her on the cushion. “Where did you go? What happened to you?” He asked gently looking her over carefully. Her body was marred bruises and the occasional scar. She was painfully skinny and looked like she hadn’t slept in days. Her leg had a large wound on it. It looked only about a day or two old.

Molly sucked in a breath, and looked away. “I… I don’t want to talk about it.”

“Molly you just vanished! In the middle of the night! You have to give me some sort of explanation!” Virgil said starting to get angry his blood boiling. Not at her but in frustration.

“Do I!? Cause you seemed pretty keen on avoiding my question!” Molly yelled back. Virgil’s eyes widened slightly. “Yeah, don’t think I didn’t catch that! But you know what? I didn’t push you into talking about it! Because I understand what it's its like to have a secret!” She said sitting up quickly. Too quickly. Molly felt her head spin slightly before she laid back down with a groan.

Virgil growled, “Do you even know what you leaving did to me!? Can you even imagine what it is like waking up one morning to be told your best friend is just gone! To live with that never knowing what happened! People telling you day in and day out that you are the thing that sent her away. And then the two people you trust more than anything after that, they leave you on the same fricken day! Do you have any idea what that does to a person!” Virgil had stood up and started pacing during his rant. Tipping over a coffee table in the process.

Molly sat there with her jaw clenched a dead serious look in her eyes, a look Virgil had only seen on her face once when she was dealing with Andrew. “Virgil, I love you, but you have no idea the Hell I lived through. SO DROP IT!” Her voice dripping with authority, so intense that even Roman ducked his head slightly. Her eyes flashed a bright purple color. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she opened them they had returned to normal. “Please Virgil.” She said softly now.

“Yeah okay, I’m sorry.” Virgil said relaxing now.

Roman looked between the two of them at a rapid rate of speed. “Can someone please explain what the heck is going on here?”

Before anyone could respond Patton popped his head in. “Hey kiddo’s how is it going in here?” Patton looked around the room his eyes settling on Molly’s leg. “O.M.Goodness! You’re hurt really bad!” Patton rushed up to Molly inspecting her leg. She shrunk back pulling away as far as she could manage.

“I’m fine.” She said stubbornly.

“Please let me help you.” Patton stated turning his puppy dog eyes on to 11.

Molly seemed to get stars in her eyes, “Oh my god you are adorable!” She said enthusiastically. “May I adopt you?” She asked putting her hands on his shoulders the previous tension in the room dissipating.

Patton looks shocked and looks around helplessly. “Looks like the tables have turned on you, Patton.” Roman said with a laugh.

“Do my eyes deceive me or did your puppy dog eyes not work on someone.” Logan stated. He had followed after Patton unnoticed by the others.

“Logie! Do something! She won’t let me help.” Patton pouted to his mate.

“That is her decision…” Patton turned the puppy dog eyes back on, “I’ll see what I can do.”

“Ah so they still work.” Patton said with a smile.

Molly giggled watching the two interact. She took stock of the other two in the room to see how they are doing after the interruption. Virgil was moving with a nervous flair around the room, and Roman looked anxiously at Virgil. Like he desperately wanted to soothe him, but wasn’t allowed to. So Virgie found his mate did he? She then looked at Virgil’s chest and felt panic rise in her stomach.

“Virgil where is your necklace!” She said causing the other two to fall silent. “Please tell me you still have it.”

Virgil’s brow scrunched as he reached into his shirt and pulled out the necklace. “Yeah I have it. Why is it such a big deal?”

Molly let out a sigh of relief, “No reason, I-I’ll tell you later.”

Virgil huffed, but he learned his lesson from earlier. Don’t push. “Okay.”

“May I please help with your leg.” Patton asked again.

Molly looked him up and down before she nodded. She supposed it couldn’t hurt to get help, just this once.

“Logi-bear, My first aid kit?” Patton asked.

Logan smiled, “I grabbed it before I even came here.” He handed Patton the kit.

Patton took out the materials he needed. He got some disinfectant, and poured some on a rag. “This is going to hurt.” He said apologetically.

Molly nodded and bit her lip. Patton gently applied the rag to Molly’s leg. She hissed in pain and her body moved on it’s own. She moved and stood up quickly. Big mistake. The room tilted sideways and her leg screamed out in pain. Her vision blurred before she collapsed to the ground.

After Molly collapsed they moved her to the guest bedroom to lay down, Patton finished bandaging her leg. They all found the wound odd. As werewolves they heal quickly, but it looked about a day or two old It should have looked better than it did. She must be in a weaker state than they thought if she isn’t healing properly.

“Virgil, I think it would really help if you explained what you know about her. To get the rest of us out of the dark on what’s happening.” Roman stated.
Virgil sighed “I don’t know that much. I didn’t know she was a werewolf when were kids. We just grew up together, and then one night she just vanished. That was almost five years ago now.”

    “That’s it?”

    “That’s it.”
