Before you had a chance to properly react to the situation laid out before you, tears started to well up in your eyes as you stuttered out a few incoherent phrases. The boys noticed this and Dream automatically enveloped you in a warm hug, making you jump slightly at the spontaneous gesture but melt into it all the same. After a minute or so, you wrapped your arms around Dream's torso and hugged him back.

"How could I..." You took a moment to chuckle lightly as you gave the skeleton hugging you a quick squeeze. "Forget you boneheads," you teased and wiped away your tears with one hand. As you said this, Ink and Blue joined in on the hug and you wrapped your arms around their backs, embracing them all in a loving bear hug. You stand in that circle for a few minutes, content with the scenario before they all pulled away and Dream handed you the back pack with a shy smile.

You gently took hold of it and slipped it onto your back before raising your eyebrow at the trio.

"Um, if you don't mind me asking. Why do we have to go? And where?" Dream's breath seemed to catch in his throat as you asked this before he replied.

"Error and Nightmare are in this universe, specifically looking for humans. But when they learnt that you were close to us... They decided that they were going to come after you. We'll take shelter in the Castle for now but you can come back here soon," He explained with a nervous smile, extending his hand towards you. You nodded to show you understood and reached out to grab his hand, entwining your fingers with his phalanges.

Ink and Blue teleported away as soon as you took Dream's hand into your own and Dream pulled you close to his chest before doing the same, quickly instructing you to close your eyes.

Once you were teleported, however, you found yourself disconnected from Dream and instead dangling from a branch of a giant apple tree on the peak of a hill that overlooked a magnificent purple and yellow castle.

You allowed yourself to drop down onto a sturdy branch and looked around, marvelling at the golden and pitch black apples. They were a bit bigger and a lot more rounded than a normal apple would be but that wasn't a surprise to you. After all, they weren't ordinary apples...

A light popping sound was heard from beneath you, startling you so much that you accidentally (and oh so gracefully - not) fell backwards out of the tree... and straight into Ink's arms. If the fact that you had landed in his arm's bridal style wasn't bad enough, the shocked and flustered expression on his face defiantly made the situation at least 10 times more awkward.

He nervously placed you back on your feet, breaking eye contact as soon as he does. He turned his skull away in an attempt to hide the rainbow shade that dusted his cheekbones. The sight of his blush made yours appear, turning your cheeks a bright rosy red.

"Th-Thanks," You managed to stammer out as Ink pulled his scarf up over his face so you could only see his eye sockets, which were flashing different colours and shapes in a flustered frenzy. You quickly started to make your way down the hill, pulling the hood of your jacket up.

Just as a signal to show how embarrassed you were.

You stepped into the castle and let out a breath you hadn't known you'd been holding. Your footsteps echoed off the walls as you made you way down the hallway and into a large circular hall. It has three new hallways branching off from it (two on the left, one on the right) and there are a purple and a yellow throne sitting in the very centre. You glanced at each hallway, automatically knowing which one belonged to which skeleton.

First one on the left, covered in yellow.

Second one on the left, splattered in rainbow paint.

And the one on the right, neatly coated in a light blue.

Dream came to your side and led you to the right. The towering pillars supporting the room had many ancient designs carved into them. It was truly a beautiful sight and you couldn't help but wonder why you hadn't been here for so long... Or why you even left in the first place. However, with your history of amnesia and all, you didn't bother trying to question it.

Dream snapped his phalanges and another fourth hallway appeared next to the blue one. It was painted with (f/c), a colour that always seemed to cheer you up. There were a bunch of old photos' pinned to the walls that you had thought you'd lost long ago.

"This... is where you stayed before... before you ran away from home," Ink sighed and you blinked in return gazing at the hallway with a newfound sense of guilt. You slowly walked down it, running your fingers along the wall, leaving the boys to go to their own rooms.

There was a (s/f/c) door at the end of the hallway and you took in a small breath before hesitantly opening it. You found a large room on the other side with one tall window at the far end overlooking a vast meadow of golden flowers. There was a comfortable looking bed situated to the left of the window and a desk with a few small trinkets to your right. You couldn't help but smile as you reminisced on some of the memories you made here. Losing them left you with many unanswered questions but now that you had them back... you could begin to answer them all.

There was a wardrobe near the desk that you placed your bag next to before making your way over to the bed and sitting down. Everything that you had forgotten seemed so clear in your head now as nostalgia ran through your mind like a film tape.

You turned your attention back over to the group as they stood anxiously in the doorway. Blueberry smiled brightly at you, Ink shakily grinned and Dream nervously rubbed the back of his skull. You gave them a small smile back. Yup, they're still the same dorky trio of skeletons.

"This is perfect."
