"Good morning (y/n)! How are yo- Is everything alright?" Blue's yell snapped you out of whatever trance you had fallen into and you whipped your head up to look at him. He had his hand raised in what you guessed was meant to be a wave but it had fallen lack-luster once he had seen your expression.

"Y-Yeah, everything's fine Blue! I was just... wondering if you maybe wanted to make breakfast together?" You proposed quickly, although you couldn't help your eyes darting over to Dream's door. Blue lit up at the offer and raced towards you, grabbing your hand in both of his and beginning to practically drag you back towards the kitchen.

"YES, YES, YES!! LET'S GO!!" He cried out excitedly and you couldn't help but laugh as his eye lights flashed to stars. You both entered the kitchen and Blue automatically released you to start getting the things needed to make pancakes. Perfect. You smiled and started to help, wanting to cheer everyone up with a nice home cooked breakfast.

"Boys! Breakfast is ready!" You chimed as you walked back into the main hall, cupping your hands around your mouth. Ink exited his room first, looking around in a hazy dreamlike daze.

"W-What?"

You laughed at his half-lidded expression and walked over to him.

"Blue and I made breakfast. It's in the kitchen, go eat and wake yourself up while I get Dream," You explained and Ink nodded, still a little drowsy. You watched him amble towards the kitchen before making your way to Dream's door, raising your hand to prepare yourself to knock.

'Please be okay Dream...' You thought before rapping on the door quickly and waiting for a response. The door slowly opened and Dream peeked through the open crack, giving you a small smile.

"Hey." He opened the door and leant against the door frame. You smiled, happy that he seemed relatively normal and pointed a finger towards the kitchen.

"Uh... Blue and I made breakfast. I know you don't necessarily need to eat but..." You were cut off by Dream chuckling.

"Thank you (y/n), it's the thought that counts." He nodded in understanding and walked past you to go to the kitchen. You swiftly started to trail after him; you were still unsure whether or not he was still upset.

The two of you were greeted by Ink - having fully woken up - teasing Blue by drowning his pancakes in syrup and Blue having a frenzy over the sticky substance that oozed onto the table. You snickered at the sight and Dream raised what would have been an eyebrow (if he had any) at his fellow teammates. At you laughing, the pair snapped their skulls towards you, Ink smirking in obvious pride and Blue looking like he was ready to throw the table... Or Ink... Or both.

"Still can't go throughout breakfast without making a mess boys?" You teased making Ink snicker and Blue's cheekbones flush. You giggled at the small blush that had appeared on the blue skeleton's skull and grabbed your plate of pancakes, sitting down next to him and covering them with/in (favourite topping).

"Ink started it," Blue huffed, puffing his cheekbones out in a childish pout. Dream shook his skull and took a seat next to Ink, covering his own pancakes in whipped cream and strawberries - a classic. You shot a quick smile his way and earned one back almost immediately as you all started to eat. You couldn't help but notice that Blue was sneaking glances towards you and Dream, a confused and slightly conflicted look on his face. Ink seemed normal but you did see that his movements were a lot stiffer and more... automatic.

What's going on with them today?

Once you had all finished, Dream and Blue took the plates leaving you and Ink alone at the table. Unexpectedly, Ink leant forward and looked at you with a stern expression, lacing his phalanges together and resting his skull on top of them - his elbows on the table.

"What's goin' on with you two?" He asked out of the blue making you blink.

"Huh?"

"You and Dream."

"Oh..." You mumbled, looking down at the table. "I'm honestly not sure. He wasn't really... himself this morning but he seems fine now so-" You trailed off as Ink sat up straight again.

"So... There's nothing happening between you two?"

"No? Why do you ask?" He got nervous at this question, you could tell. He started to drum his phalanges against the table in a rhythmic pattern. Just as he was preparing himself to speak Dream and Blue returned to the table, making him snap his jaw shut. This earned curious look from you and the two skeletons.

"No reason. Gotta go, see ya!" He said hurriedly and darted out of the kitchen.

"Um... Is he okay?" Dream asked, looking over at you.

"Not sure," You responded with a shrug of your shoulders. Dream seemed concerned, looking between you and the doorway before walking out of the kitchen as well - presumably to go talk to Ink. Blue made a confused noise before coming over to you and sitting back down.

"So while they do, whatever they're doing... Do you, I mean, would you... like to hang out for a bit? Like we used to?" Blue asked innocently, smiling at you with a hopeful expression. You smiled back. How could you say no when he was looking at you with such a pleading expression? Puppy eyes should be ILLEGAL on a skeleton!

"I'd love to Blueberry," You replied making him squeal slightly in delight. He grabbed your hand again and pulled you up, quickly teleporting you... somewhere. You found yourself gripping onto him in a sort of hug as you 'arrived'. You opened your eyes (you hadn't realized you'd even closed them) and took in your surroundings. It was a clear opening in Waterfall, the cliff that overlooked a castle. You smiled at the sight and unconsciously held onto Blue a little tighter.

"This is the Waterfall of my AU. You always used to love coming here with me, do you remember?" Blue asked almost nervously. You looked up at him and nodded, smirking as you saw the light blue dusting his cheekbones."It's still as beautiful as I remember it being," You said softly, finally detaching yourself from the small skeleton and going to the edge of the cliff side, sitting down and dangling your legs. Blue stood behind you as you simply enjoyed the view. You looked back at him after a while and, grabbing his hand this time, pulled him down to sit with you.

"(y-y/n), wha-" He trailed off as you shot him a stern look and took the hint that you wanted him to sit with you, not realizing that your hands were still connected. You however, did and gave a small smile at the situation. You were happy that he was trying to make things go back to normal, it made you feel like you were still wanted...

Still loved.
