You felt your heart skip a beat as the corrupted prince stared you down. He took a step forward and you instinctively took a step back, fear quickly spreading through your SOUL. (s/f/s/s) had cursed upon his arrival and teleported to some place unknown, leaving you and the Star Sanses alone a furious Nightmare.

'No no no, this wasn't meant to happen! We were so close!'

"Brother." You turned your attention to Dream as the small skeleton stepped forward. You frowned at how little of his positive aura was present, discomforted by the sight of tears in the usually optimistic skeleton's eye sockets. The prince took in a small breath, glancing back at you before fixing his older brother with a steely gaze. "I know you must... still be angry about what happened before but, please try to understand-"

"Oh stop it with your feelsy shit!" Nightmare snapped, eye light flaring dangerously as Dream quickly took his place back with your group. "You don't know what that kind of pain feels like... You couldn't even get her to remember m-me..."

You were taken aback by the sight of Nightmare crying. Glowing navy tears trailed down his inky black cheekbones. You looked over at the Star Sanses for some kind of clarification but got nothing other than empty stares and guilty expressions.

"W-What?" you said softly, looking back at Nightmare. He looked up at you and new tears surfaced at the sight of your confused face. You slowly walked up to the distraught skeleton and cupped his cheekbone in your hand, he instantly (almost subconsciously) leaned into your touch. "Nightmare... what are you talking about?"

"(y/n), I..." He paused to shoot the Star Sanses a sharp glare. "I thought they'd fill you in eventually. Looks like I'm going to have to do the dirty work!"

"Hey Nighty, when are you gonna introduce me to your brother?"

"Oh c'mon (y/n), you how I feel about that..."

"I know Nightmare, but, please? I've been dying to meet him!"

"...I know. You'll still like me more than him though, right?"

"Of course!"

"Night... I can't sleep."

"You really think I'm the best person to help with that?"

"Of course silly, I love you."

"Heh, love you too. C'mere (y/n)."

"This is stupid!"

"I hate you so much."

"Pfft- no you don't."

"I thought it would suit you."
