Christmas Special~

Merry Christmas everybody! I thought I'd do a special for this special holiday - I promise I'll get back to writing full chapters at some point XD As for now, I hope you enjoy this one-off chapter - Fandom Trash

You woke up earlier than usual, a bright smile present on your face from the moment your eyes fluttered open. You eagerly exited your room and followed the sound of hushed voices to the living room, snickering at the sight of three familiar skeletons huddled round a tree.

"Merry Christmas boys!" you cheered as you made your presence known. They all simultaneously turned to face you with varying looks of shock and anticipation. Blue squealed and raced towards you, firmly wrapping his arms around your waist and lifting you off your feet.

"Merry Christmas sweetie! Can we do the presents now?!" Blue said excitedly, making you laugh as he spun around with you still in his arms. You affectionately rubbed his skull once he placed you on his feet, pecking his cheekbone before walking over to the two skeletons that were patiently waiting.

"Sure Blue," you said to the bubbly skeleton. Your say was enough for him to race back over to the tree and begin sorting through the presents - taking them out one-by-one and sorting them. "Merry Christmas boys," you greeted Ink and Dream, giving their cheekbones kisses as well. Dream smiled while Ink blushed, both of them taking one of your hands to walk over to the tree together and settle down.

Blue had already sorted all of the presents and giddily bounced in place as he watched you approach. He took your hand once it was free and pulled you down to sit next to him, handing you a neatly wrapped box.

"This one's from me! Open it! Uh... please," Blue cheered before catching himself and giving you a nervous smile. You chuckled and carefully tore into the shiny blue paper with restricted excitement, eyes gleaming as you saw what was inside.

"Aw Blueberry this is so sweet," you said thankfully as you held up the charm bracelet he had gotten you. There were three charms hanging from the silver chain: a(n) (favourite animal), a star, and a taco. He grinned at your reaction, gently taking the charm bracelet from you and helping you clasp it onto your wrist. "I love it." You admired the jewelry as you wrapped your other arm around Blue's middle to give him an adoring squeeze. His face lit up as his eye lights flashed to stars.

"Good! I'm SO happy you like it!" He hugged you, playfully nuzzling his face into the crook of your neck. You smiled at his childlike affection before a quiet cough diverted your attention. You looked over and saw Dream holding a box out to you with a sheepish smile.

"This one's from me," he said as you gratefully received the small box. You gave him a thankful smile before undoing the bow and lifting the lid up.

"Oh, Dream..." you breathed placing a hand atop of your chest in shock. The box contained a replica of his golden apples, made of a shimmering crystal that sent rainbows dancing around the room. "It's so beautiful." You carefully picked the apple up to wonder at it, your mouth agape at its beauty. Dream chuckled nervously, rubbing the back of his skull.

"I had one of the residents of Dreamtale make it. They craft ornaments out of crystal and well... I thought you'd like it." He blushed as you gazed at him in awe. You softly placed it back in its box before giving Dream a hug. You felt him relax in your embrace and giggle happily as he hugged you back.

"I love it Dream, I really do. Thank you," you assured him pulling away and turning to Ink as he too held a box out to you. You gave the artist a knowing smile and took the rather weighty box, placing it on your lap before tearing into the (f/c) wrapping. You gasped as you eyed the gift, a smile curling onto your lips as you picked it up to examine it.
