It had been over three hours, and there was no sign of the police. We had finished watching the movie, eaten dinner and moved outside to sit around the fire pit, and I was starting to get nervous.
What if they couldn't track my location? What if they aren't coming at all?
My anxious mind raced.
I sat between San and Yeosang, staring quietly at the flickering flames. The flames danced around against the clear night sky. Sitting around the fire relaxed me a little, but I did feel slightly hopeless about my situation.
Suddenly my eyes connected with someone else's through the fire. While my eyes had been staring off into the flames, Mingi's dark eyes had been on me. He didn't look away, but kept my gaze, with a serious look on his face. His shadows on his face danced around his polished skin. I quickly shifted my gaze.
"San, I'm kind of tired, can I go to bed?" It was true. Although I hadn't done much today, the constant nerves and adrenaline that were pumping through my body had completely drained me.
"Uh, yeah, go ahead. I'll go up later though, I still want to sit outside awhile."
I got up and went back inside alone. Or at least I thought I was alone.
I slowly trudged up the first set of stairs, dreading the second set that awaited me. When I reached the top step, I felt a hand grasp my arm. Mingi spun me around to face him.
"W-what are you doing here?" He had himself pressed against me. I hated that he made me so nervous.
"I'm a jealous man Y/N, and I can't stand seeing my baby girl sleep in another man's room. It's like you're trying to make me angry on purpose." His deep voice made my body shiver. His hands gently caressed my hips. "You only sleep in my room from now on."
Without giving me a chance to answer, he lifted me up. A surprised gasp escaped my throat. My heartbeat quickened at the mere thought of what he would do. He carried me down the hall to, what I assumed was, his room. Mingi placed me down on his bed leaning over me controllingly.
"Now go to sleep here." He ordered, as he got up and walked over to his computer.
I sat up, entirely stunned and a bit disappointed. Just a moment ago he was insanely jealous and now he was ignoring me? As he opened his computer and began to work, I pouted. I wasn't really tired anymore and I didn't think that I could fall asleep yet. So, naturally, I followed him over to his desk.
"What are you working on?" I inquired standing behind his desk chair.
Mingi was a little startled when I suddenly appeared behind him. "Uh – I'm working on writing some song lyrics. Didn't I tell you to go to sleep?"
"I know but I'm not tired." I pouted while placing my hands on his shoulders, squeezing them gently. His body visibly flinched.
"Stop doing that..." He gritted his teeth. He was visibly uncomfortable under my touch.
I decided to play the innocent. "Why?"
"Because I'm trying to be nice, but if you keep touching me like that, I don't think I'll be able to control myself."
"Then don't"
He spun his chair around so that he was facing me. Fire burned in his eyes as he roughly grabbed my hips.
"You're so needy baby girl. Do you want Daddy to make you feel good?" He growled.
"Yes..."
He didn't move, and instead continued to stare expectantly.
