Even though I was tired from staying up so late, I decided my best plan of action was to wake up early and make breakfast. What I learned from Seonghwa is that, you can never dislike someone who makes you food. So, if I made a delicious breakfast for Hongjoong and the others, he would have to forgive me, right?

The only problem was that I didn't know how to cook. I've always been horrible at following recipes and not burning whatever I try to make. The one time I was trying to make spaghetti, I managed to burn the pasta to the bottom of the pot and set off the fire alarm. Needless to say, I avoided the stove at all costs.

So that was how I ended up outside of Seonghwa's room at 7am. I knocked softly. He usually woke up earlier than the rest but I wasn't sure if he was awake quite yet.

Luckily, he appeared at the door right away, still in his pyjamas but wide awake. "Oh, Y/N, you're up early. What's up?"

"Actually, I wanted to make breakfast for everyone, but I'm not that good at cooking." I always had a hard time asking for help, but this was important.

"I was wondering if you could help me. If you're busy, that's okay too. I just thought since you're really good at cooking that maybe you could show me..." I blurted out.

"Y/N, of course I'll help. I always have pity for the culinarily-challenged." He laughed. "What do you want to make?"

"I don't know..." I admitted, "It just has to taste amazing."

"Trying to impress someone?" He winked at me through his floppy bangs.

"Um, yeah something like that." It was nothing like that, but it was easier than explaining my whole plan to him. "What's easy to make?"

"Hmmm," He took a minute to consider. "Let's do omelettes. They aren't that difficult and they're pretty quick to make as well."

"Perfect!" I smiled.

Seonghwa and I got to work in the kitchen. After telling him about my past cooking experience, he banished me from the stove and instead set me up at the cutting board to chop up onions, peppers and tomatoes. I didn't really know why he thought giving me a knife would be any safer. He showed me how to cut evenly, and I surprisingly managed to avoid ruining anything or cutting off one of my fingers.

Hongjoong came down first. I was hoping he would, knowing that he liked to wake up early as well. He came to the kitchen and picked up a plate, going to serve himself.

"No no, go sit down, I'll bring it." I offered.

He couldn't remember ever seeing me in the kitchen before. And with a big smile on my face too? After yesterday's little disagreement, he didn't expect me to be nice to him, never mind completely domestic.

Hesitantly, he obliged and pulled out a chair.

"You want coffee too?" I asked cheerfully. Seonghwa started plating the first omelette.

"Uhm sure." I pressed a button on the coffee machine and it began to whirl. I grabbed a plate and mug and brought it over to Hongjoong, who sat at the table scrolling through his phone. He didn't really look so mean all the time. Right now, he just looked kind of sleepy, with his hair all messed up and his matching plaid pyjamas on.

Alright Y/N, time to swallow your damn pride and just apologize.

"Here you go," I placed it down in front of him.

"Thanks... this actually doesn't look terrible." He mumbled, eyeing the food carefully.

I sighed, ignoring his terrible attempt at a compliment. "Look about yesterday..."

He looked up from his phone as I went on, "I shouldn't have said all that stuff about you being in charge. Honestly, you've done a good job taking care of everyone up to this point. So... I'm sorry, okay?"

"I accept your apology," He replied, almost immediately. I expected him to say something else but he didn't. Instead he went back to scrolling through his Instagram feed.

"Ok, so, we're good then?" I asked hopefully.

"Yeah, we're good Y/N." Hongjoong seemed unbothered, but still genuine.

I considered that a success and skipped back into the kitchen to help Seonghwa. I don't think he even noticed the conversation; he was humming away while flipping more omelettes for the others once they woke up.

Mingi was the next to sleepily make his way into the kitchen. I rushed over to give him a kiss on the cheek before telling him to sit down and bringing him his food. He was equally shocked to see me in the kitchen.

"What's gotten into you this morning?" He grinned, as an omelette was placed down in front of him.

"Nothing, I'm just happy." I grinned at him. "Coffee?"

Before he could answer me, the keypad on the front door started to beep from down the hall. Everyone's heads shot up, while considering the same idea. It's the police.

Instead, Wooyoung stumbled through the doorway. He wobbled towards the kitchen, but then caught his shoe on the carpet and he fell face-first onto the floor with a loud bang.

I rushed over to him. "Wooyoung, what's wrong? Where have you been all night?"

"Ugh, I'm gonna throw upp." He groaned into the carpet.

"Are you sick?" Concerned, I tried to help him up, but he refused, choosing instead to continue lying face down on the floor.

I could hear Mingi laughing from the table.

I glared at him. "It's not funny, he's sick!"

"He's not sick Y/N, he's drunk." Seonghwa stated.

"I am nnnot..." Wooyoung slurred.

"Seriously Woo? Why would you go out drinking?" I asked him as he lay motionless on the carpet. "We had no idea where you were."

He completely ignored me. "I had ssomething... but I can't rememb... Oh rrrright!" He wasn't making any sense to anyone in the room.

He lifted his head off the ground. "Where's Sanniiie? I neeed to tellll himm..."

With all of the racket Wooyoung was making, San was already wide awake and had just walked into the kitchen.

"Tell me what?" He asked coldly, arms crossed against his chest. He looked pissed off and I didn't blame him. He was up all night worrying while Wooyoung was out drowning his sorrows in soju.

"Saannie, you're prettyy." He slurred as he managed to sit himself up.

"Well if that's it..." San scowled and went to leave.

"Wait! Sannie, I love youu." He shouted. Even while slurred, there was no mistaking the words that had just left Wooyoung's mouth.

The room went dead quiet. San's face went completely blank, blood immediately rushing to his cheeks. He didn't know what to think. Of course, he wanted the confession, but not when Wooyoung had to be drunk to give it. And in front of everyone as well, that was just embarrassing.

Completely overwhelmed, he turned and rushed out of the kitchen, without saying another word.

"Uh ohh, I'm rreally gonna throww upp now." Wooyoung garbled.

"JesusChrist," I huffed, "Mingi can you help me get him to the bathroom?"

"JesusChrist," I huffed, "Mingi can you help me get him to the bathroom?"
