Jeong Yunho exceeded all expectations of what I thought a boyfriend should be. I had heard many stories of awful boyfriends from my friends at university, and I had comforted many of them through countless tearful nights. From little things like not paying enough attention and spending too much time with female friends, to more serious problems like lying and cheating, I had heard about it all. It got to the point where I just assumed all guys were like that, and decided it wasn't worth dating, at least until I graduated.

However, Yunho wasn't like that at all. In fact, he was the exact opposite. He would listen attentively when I spoke to him, and could always say the right thing to cheer me up. He always wanted to be near me and hugging me or holding my hand. And he was always worried about me, frequently asking if I was hungry, tired or too cold. In the back of my mind, I expected him to do something to let me down and to break my heart, but so far, he hadn't.

One sunny morning, I groggily strolled into the kitchen, in search of some coffee. To my surprise Yunho was standing behind the stove. Underneath the chef's apron he had on, he also wore the blue hoodie that I had told him made him look handsome, and ripped straight-leg jeans. He hadn't noticed me walk in yet, and was happily humming away as he cut up strawberries. I wasn't sure where he got all that positivity from but it was infectious, and I felt a smile form on my face as well, even in my half-asleep state.

"Morning," I grinned at him, as he turned his head up towards me, his face instantly lighting up.

"Oh good, you're awake! I'm making you breakfast," He announced "Sit down, it's almost ready."

"M'kay," I smiled widely, as I watched him return to his task. Before I even had time to mention coffee, he had already appeared at my side with a bowl-sized mug full of the stuff, placing it down right in front of me. The light fruity notes instantly wafted towards me, waking my senses a little.

"Morning baby," He leaned down to kiss my cheek, then hurried back into the kitchen to check on the food. A few minutes later he came back with two plates with waffles, topped with fresh cut berries and whipped cream. He took a seat next to me, placing both plates down in front of us.

"You know that you're the best, right?" I giggled, staring down at the plate in awe. I wasn't usually a breakfast person, but it was mostly because I was a horrible cook. When someone else made it, I was always hungry. Especially when that someone was Yunho.

"I know," he winked at me, placing a forkful in his mouth.

I almost felt bad. He was so nice to me that sometimes I wished that I did more for him, because I wanted him to be happy as well. I thought about it for a while, in between bites of my breakfast, while watching him in my peripheral vision as he chatted away about a movie that he wanted to take me to see. When an idea finally popped into my head, I had to bite my lip to keep from grinning too obviously.

I had managed to steal San away from Wooyoung long enough to drag him out of the house with me. I trusted his opinion, and I needed his help. We went to a couple of stores, but it didn't take long to find what I was looking for.

"Do you think he'll like it?" I asked San, standing in the small dimly-lit shop.

"To be completely honest," He paused dramatically, "he's going to love it."

I completed my purchase at the register and returned home with a small dainty shopping bag. I managed to sneak into the apartment without anyone noticing and hid the bag under my bed for later.

After dinner, everyone dispersed to do their own tasks. Yunho helped Seonghwa with washing the dishes and then settled in to watch TV. I took this chance to slip away so no one would notice. I snuck into Yunho's room and got myself ready, holding back nervous giggles as I did.
