"Hey," he said simply, staring down at her, eyes widely

"Hey," he said simply, staring down at her, eyes widely. It looked like he was thinking about knocking on their door before she opened it. "Can I-uh, can I talk to you?" he asked. Nayeli was speechless. Samara had to literally nudge her to get her to snap out of it.

"Yes! Yeah of course," she spat out quickly. "Um, where? You wanna just go outside or?"

"No! I actually needed to go to the store, y'all can stay here," Samara quickly said, grabbing her wallet and squeezing past Armani and shooting Nayeli a thumbs up and mouthing 'bad bitch' before disappearing down the hall.

"U-um, come in, make yourself comfortable," she moved to the side and he made his way inside. She peeked at herself in the full body mirror again, making sure she, in fact, was a bad bitch.

She followed him to the couch, and plopped down next to him. He looked kinda stressed, so she was assuming he may not have come here for a different reason than she was about to break to him, but she wanted to be the first to say something. She was on a little high from she and Samara's talk, and she knew exactly what she wanted to say.

"Okay, um I know you said you have to talk to me, but I have to talk to you too," she piped up, making his eyebrows raise.

"Oh really?" he said, making her nod. "Okay, wassup? Everything oka—"

"I like you," she blurted out, before she could give herself a reason not to. "I really—I really like you Armani, and I-I don't think i've liked anyone this much in a really long time, I don't know if you feel the same way b-but I just needed to tell you, you mean so much to me, you're really important to me a-and you make me feel so good and I'm so happy when you're around—I was just hoping yknow...that you felt the same way,"  she continued. By the end of it, she was mumbling, back staring at her hands, fidgeting, and they both knew what that meant.

"Look at me," he spoke simply. Shocked was an understatement. Armani could not believe the shyest girl he ever met was able to fully and clearly express her feelings before he did. She kept her head down, though, so he took the initiative to reach over and lift her head up, making her shift her gaze to him.

"You mean that?" he asked, looking her straight in her eye. She nodded, slowly. He tried to keep a serious face on, but he couldn't help the smile he cracked. He had a feeling she did already, but hearing her say it felt better than he thought.

"If you can believe it, I came down here to tell you the exact same thing," he chuckled. In the bright light of the setting sun shining brightly off of one side of her face, he could literally see her pupils dilate a little at his words.

"I should have donee this the other day, but I've been made to realize that I'm kind of scared of being in a relationship again. But I can't let you slip through my fingers," he said, making her heart beat even faster in her chest.

"Everything that happened between me and Jailyn really messed me up trust wise, and I realize that now. You though—I can't stay away from you. Ion' know how you made your way into my heart so fast but you not going nowhere no time soon, and I don't want you to. I know you're not her, and I want to be with you. I can't just give up and let you go. Facing that fear don't seem so bad if I could do it with you," he spoke.
