Armani paced back and forth in Nayeli's hospital room, extremely stressed. Her anxiety had never gotten to the point where a panic attack made her pass out. Once he got her to the hospital he called her parents and they were immediately there with him.

"Sweetheart, come sit down," Nadira pleaded with him. He was making her so nervous, and Gionni was no help, he sat by Nai's side, just holding her hand.

"I—I can't. she was literally just telling me about this little girl and now she's dead? she's gonna spiral. It's gonna get so bad, ma. I don't know what we're gonna do and the—oh God," he stopped walking, rubbing his hands down his face.

He'd never been so scared before.

"She's opening her eyes," Gionni spoke. "Hey princess," he said softly as Nai came to. It was now 4:30 in the morning.

"Nai," Armani breathed out. "Jesus, I'm so glad you're up, baby," he came to her bed, taking her hand.

"Is—is this for real? Mani she's...she's really dead?" were her first words, as she sat up. Armani sighed, standing by her side and nodded. As soon as her eyes started to water, he held her head against his body.

"I'm so sorry, Nayeli. I'm sorry, baby," he rubbed the back of her head as she cried loudly, breaking hearts in the room. Nadira had to excuse herself, she went to go find a nurse for her. She couldn't take hearing Nayeli cry like that, it was just a gut wrenching as when she was a little girl.

After Nai had calmed down some, a nurse had come in to talk to Nai about what happened. Her body was immediately sent into shock after the news and just shut down completely.

"Thank you," Armani said, before the nurse said something she wasn't ready to hear from her. "Baby, I need to talk to you," he sighed. She didn't speak, she just turned to look at him. He could tell she was really feeling it, and he really didn't know if he should.

"Tell her," Nadira said, seemingly sensing his doubt.

"Tell me what...? What's wrong?" she piped up in a raspy voice after crying for so long.
