Treat Her Good

Solar couldn't sleep that night. She laid on her bed and her thoughts were filled with Moonbyul. She was thinking about each and every action of Moonbyul, from the moment they hugged after their fight till she gave her those chocolates. She took her phone out and started looking at their pictures.

She was smiling at the thought of Moonbyul being so cute. Was she starting to feel things for Moonbyul too? That thought scared her and she kept her phone away and went to sleep at 5 in the morning.

Solar woke up to a loud thud on her door. She took a look at her phone and it was 7 AM. She had barely gotten any sleep. She forced herself out of the bed and opened the door.

At the other side of the door stood Jae-Sung. She blinked her eyes few times to believe if it was really him that stood in front of her.

"Hey, you haven't called since yesterday. Didn't reply to my text so I came to visit you. How are you? Is everything alright?"

She had just woken up that too with very little sleep. She wanted to shove something in his mouth to shut it but she just let him in and closed the door behind her.

She motioned him to sit on the chair in front of her bed and she sat on the bed. He kept talking and it took Solar all her energy to not lash out.

She had actually not even thought about him after her day with Moonbyul. When he came to meet her, it was like a reminder for Solar that she has a boyfriend.

She shook her head and tried to concentrate on what he was saying.

"So maybe I was thinking you could join us."

"Join who? And where?"

"Ah Yongsunah, did you not hear what I said?" He made a cute puppy face.

Solar smiled at his cuteness and apologized. He then further went to explain about a party his friend arranged and she was invited.

Solar hesitated at first because she was not a party person but Jae-Sung convinced her to join.

He then got up and started leaving.

"I think you should go ahead and freshen up. Till then I'll see what Byulie is doing. It's been long since I've met her too."

"I don't think you shou-" but Yongsun stopped herself from saying that it wasn't a good idea for him to see Byul. But before her boyfriend, he was Byul's friend. She didn't want to come between their friendship.

"What?" Jae-Sung asked.

"Nothing, I'm sorry, I'm not in my mind right now." Solar looked embarrassed.

He then came close to her and put both his arms on her shoulder and put their forehead together so their noses touched.

"Do you know how cute you look when you are embarrassed?"

A blush crept on Solar's face and she hugged him. After few minutes she let go of him.

"Didn't you have to go meet Byul?" Solar asked.

He pulled her into his arms and said "nah, I'm liking it here" they both stayed in that position for more few minutes. Then finally he let go of her and started to leave.

"See you tonight" He kissed her cheek and left.

After meeting Solar, Jae-Sung went to Byul's room. He wanted to see her and talk to her. He knocked on her door and after a minute and half Moonbyul opened it.

"What took you so long? Were you also sleeping? I guess Mamamoo has their priorities" He laughed making Moonbyul smile.

"No, I was just washing up and getting ready to go for breakfast." Moonbyul said.

She liked him and at the same time she didn't. She was still figuring out how to get out of the situation. She wasn't doing very well.

"Even I haven't had breakfast. I wanted to have it with Solar but miss Kim Yongsun just woke up. So can I join you instead?" Jae-Sung asked.

"I was just going to go to cafeteria but if you want we can to go out." Moonbyul suggested.

"Okay, let's go out then." He agreed.

He made himself comfortable in her room. And scrolled through his phone while Moonbyul Combed her hair and put on make up. Once she was done they went to a cafe nearby.

They talked about a lot of things that happened after Moonbyul left her home town. Moonbyul casually asked about the girls he dated and his reply was kind of unexpected.

"Honestly, I lost count of how many girls I've dated. More than 25 I think" he giggled

"What? Why so many?" Moonbyul was curious.

"I guess I lose interest easily." He said it so easily like it wasn't a big deal.

Moonbyul couldn't think what to say. All she could think about was Solar. She didn't want Solar to get hurt.

"Did you love any of them?" She asked.

"No, I don't think love is for me. Why love someone when you can just date and have fun?"

"Playing with someone's heart is not fun oppa. You are not the same Jae-Sung I knew in high school." She sounded like she was annoyed.

"Yes but situation changes everyone Byul. I had given love a chance but it just wrecked me. It don't think love is worth it. And it's not like I cheat on girls, I break up with them."

Moonbyul didn't talk further for few minutes. She was shocked at this new found side of Jae-Sung. The silence between them was growing.

Finally she broke the silence by asking what she really wanted to know.

"What about Yongsun unnie? Are you going to leave her like that too?" She was afraid to ask this because whatever his answer would be, it wouldn't be in Moonbyul's favor.

"Actually she is an exception. She is cute and too good to get her heart broken. I think she could be the one for me" He smiled at Moonbyul.

"You better not break her heart or I'll break your bones" Moonbyul warned him and he looked a bit scared.

"Treat her good, okay?" She said with a soft tone.

"Yes Byulah I told you that I like her. Don't worry I'm not gonna break her heart."

For some reason Byul didn't believe him. After finishing breakfast, they headed back to the company. Yongsun texted her that she and the girls are in cafeteria. Moonbyul and Jae-Sung joined them soon.

Solar and Moonbyul sat beside each other and in font of the table sat Hwasa, Wheein and  Jae-Sung.

"Where were you two? I called you Byulah but you didn't pick up"

"I'm sorry unnie, I didn't see my phone. Jae-Sung and I went out to have breakfast" Moonbyul explained.

"Don't worry unnie, she is not going to steal your boyfriend" Hwasa said jokingly.

"It's the other way around. I don't want him to steal my best friend." She smiled at Moonbyul and held her hand under the table.

"Hey, what do you mean?" Jae-Sung asked Solar.

"I'm just kidding. No one can steal you from me. I love you" Solar used her other hand to hold Jae-Sung's hand. Eventually Moonbyul freed her hand from Solar's. She gave Solar a smile but Solar understood she was not happy.

Wheein and Hwasa cheered the couple. They talked for a while and went on their way. Jae-Sung went to his training group and the girls went to practice.

They practiced twice as hard to make up for yesterday's off. Their CEOs came to see their work and they were impressed. They finalized the choreography for their upcoming MV.

After practice Hwasa and Wheein had arranged a movie night and invited Moonbyul but she refused. Solar went to get ready for the party.
