As many people knew, Inmo wasn't the best at showing if he cared about someone. He didn't talk much (if at all) and often times the mute would shy away from physical contact unless it was from his brothers/boyfriend.

Inmo himself knew that his way of showing that he cared about someone was unorthodox if not inconvenient. Often times when the mute got close to someone, he would take something of theirs and tuck it into a little nook he had made in the basement near the headbanger. What else could you expect from a thief really?

Still, whenever he snuck down to his little book, he felt a sense of safety. Having all the different items with him made him feel like he had all of his loved ones with him. And it wasn't like he had stolen a lot either! A spare pillow from Ritchie's, a game controller from Colin's, Austin's spare bow, some things of leather from Daveed, a blanket from Mitch (which he switched out whenever the blanket lost his boyfriend's scent), some clothes from each of them as well. Along with a few other trinkets from various individuals. It wasn't like he had taken anything too important.

Often times when Inmo was having a rough or stressful day, he would sneak down to his little nook and curl up with a book. No one knew where he went during these times but he was happy about that. That would change soon, however.

Mitch walked around the different parts of camp trying to find his quiet boyfriend. He had wanted to spend time with him but he hadn't been able to find him all day. Walking up to the lounge, he saw Ritchie, Colin, Daveed, and Austin all talking together looking concerned. While he didn't want to interrupt what looked like a serious conversation but at the same time, he was a little concerned about his boyfriend at this point.

"Hey, sorry to interrupt, but have any of you seen Inmo?" Mitch asked the four.

Their conversation screeched to a standstill as they all turned to look at him sharply, surprising him a little. "Is something wrong?"

"The last we saw Inmo was this morning and he said he was going to hang out with you," Ritchie explained, his face along with the other's going fairly pale.

"Wait, what? I haven't seen Inmo all day." Mitch felt himself get worried at the thought of something happening to Inmo.

"Ok new priority, Inmo is much more important than some of our stuff going missing." Daveed declared, everyone else nodding in agreement.

With them all in agreement, they all split up to search for the quiet thief. They checked anywhere and everywhere they could think of. Heck, they even searched the training grounds and Inmo never went there unless one of them was with him. Where on earth could he be?

It was a couple of hours later when Ritchie found the little hatch behind Inmo's cabin. He was surprised as he had never seen this before. Looking around, he didn't spot any of the others nearby so he just shrugged and went to the hatch himself.

The eldest son of Hermes opened the hatch and upon noticing it, climbed down the ladder. Once he only had a bar or two left, he just hopped down, creating a loud thumping sound in the basement-like area. This thump immediately alerted Inmo, who meeped and hid under his cloak.

"Inmo?" Ritchie asked recognizing that meep anywhere.

Seeing that it was just his brother, Inmo decided to just get it over with and took the cloak back off as he stood up. Ritchie instantly noticed him and rushed over to check him over.

"Inmo, are you ok? What is this place? Why'd you tell me and Colin you were gonna be with Mitch? You worried all of us you know." Ritchie launched questions at the mute rapid-fire, making his head spin. Ritchie seemed to notice his lack of response and slowed down. "Can you please explain why you lied to me and Colin and what this place is?"

Inmo looked down feeling a little ashamed that he had worried his brothers. "T-this is my l-little nook, I c-come here w-when I want to be alone... and I only l-lied cause I didn't want you to w-worry when you d-didn't find me... which apparently didn't work..."

"Well, of course, it's not gonna work when your boyfriend comes looking for you." Ritchie shook his head, feeling a bit better now that he knew his brother had just wanted to be alone like always. The eldest son of Hermes glanced around the basement like area. His eyes went wide however when he spotted a bunch of items on the floor. "Is that one of my pillows?"

Inmo went pale and stepped in front of him a bit. "Um, no."

"Inmo..." Ritchie said in a warning tone of voice.

"Maybe."

"Why?" Ritchie asked as he looked over Inmo to see even more items arranged cozily in the corner of the basement that he recognized.

Inmo looked over to where his brother was looking before thinking about his answer. Finally, he turned back to his brother and said. "I'm a thief this is how I show I care."

"??? Elaborate?"

"I like having your stuff around, it makes me feel safe when you and the others aren't around... so yeahhhhhh." Inmo explained quietly. Ritchie looked at his brother for a minute before snorting. Of course, of course Inmo would do that. He reached over and ruffled his little brother's hair.

"Well, you can explain to the others exactly where their stuff has gotten off to. Right after you apologize to the rest of them about worrying them, especially Mitch."

"Alright..." Inmo quietly agreed and Ritchie chuckled again before leading his little brother up to the surface. They found the others pretty quickly and Inmo apologized for making them all worried. Afterward, Mitch wouldn't even let him go with how scared he had been when no one could find his quiet boyfriend. In the end, Inmo ended up taking the bluenette demigod down to his little basement and showing him the nook so that if he ever disappeared again, his boyfriend would be able to find him.

He was surprised when Mitch told him he didn't have to steal his blankets though, his bluenette boyfriend was more than willing to part with a few on Inmo's behalf. Needless to say, Inmo would take full advantage of this permission in the future.
