The chariots stopped once again in the large garage like area, causing Finnick to hop down. He turned around with a smirk, holding his hand out to help his love. She smiled and took his hand.
From the corner of her eye, she could see Haymitch leading the District Eleven tributes, Chaff and Seeder, over to his two tributes with a happy smile. She watched the interaction before she saw the man lead Katniss and Peeta away.
"I'll see you upstairs." Adrienne muttered to Finnick, who was talking to Blight from District Seven.
He gave her a confused look as she tried to walk away before he saw what she was planning. The boy reached out and grabbed her arm, giving her a stern look as her eyes met his. "Play nice." He said with a small smirk.
"Always." She said as he let her go, showing a small smirk of her own. As she was walking towards the elevator, she saw Johanna slip inside. A small chuckled escaped her lips, knowing this would be interesting.
As she reached the elevator, she slipped her hand into the almost closed doors, causing them to open again, revealing a very annoyed Katniss and confused Peeta.
"Well, there she is." Haymitch said as the blonde girl stepped inside the elevator. He went to embrace her, one which she returned with a very small smile.
"Hi, Haymitch." The girl muttered as they pulled away. Her smile faltered when they fell on Katniss, but she didn't try and let it show too much.
"You guys look amazing." Johanna said as the elevator started slowly lifting. "Cinna did learn from the best." She said with a smirk directed at me.
"Thank you." Peeta said shyly; not a big fan of compliments, it seemed.
The District Seven tribute scoffed to herself and spun around, starting to unhook the bracelets attached to her dress. "My stylist is an idiot, unlike your precious Serin." The girl was now talking to Adrienne, and everyone had quickly picked up on it.
"District Seven." She said, talking to the two newest victors once again as he continued to discard her jewelry and take out her hair pins. "Lumber. Trees. I'd love to put my axe in her face." She paused, a small smirk coming to her face. "So, what do you think? Now that the whole world wants to sleep with you."
"I don't think the whole world-" Katniss started before getting cut off.
"I wasn't talking to you." She snapped with a sly smile before facing Peeta. "Unzip?" The girl moved her hair out of the way, backing up slightly towards the blonde boy, who awkwardly did as she asked.
She soon shimmied out of her long dress and faced the three District Twelve victors once again, her bare body exposed to them as Adrienne held back a laugh.
The elevator doors soon opened and the girl spun around, strutting out of the compartment. "Thanks. Let's do it again sometime."
"Thank you." Haymitch muttered, finally earning a scoff from the blonde girl. He didn't seem to notice, or care, as he spoke to his two tributes. "Johanna Mason. District Seven."
Katniss' eyes rested upon the girl in front of her, whose back was to her as she looked out the glass. "And what about you?" She said in a snarky remark, causing Adrienne to look up at her. "Gonna get undressed, too?"
The blonde girl put on a fake smile, her hatred for the girl already building. "Unlike some people, I have some decency. I'm not the type of person to go showing my body around."
"No, you're just the type of girl who lets her fiancé sleep around." She muttered under her breath, though Adrienne heard. And it tipped the bucket.
She pushed Katniss back against the glass wall of the elevator, pressing her forearm against her throat, soft enough to not choke her, but strong enough to hold her there.
"Listen here, Girl on Fire, what happens with us is none of your concern. At least I love my fiancé and am not faking it for sponsors. And yes, it's obvious. So, if I were you, I'd watch what you say cause I can ruin you so fast."
With that said, she gave the girl one last shove and walked out of the elevator, which had stopped only moments before on her correct floor.
Haymitch awkwardly cleared his throat as the blonde girl walked away. "Adrienne Sallow. District Four."
