Adrienne woke up early the next morning, her fiancé's arms wrapped around her waist and his head buried into her shoulder. She smiled slightly, nuzzling closer to him. In the moment, she heard him groan as he stretched before his eyes fluttered open.
A small smile crept onto his face. "Good morning, my love." He grumbled, pulling her closer to him.
She giggled lightly. "We have to go, Finn. We have training."
He chuckled lightly, pulling me even closer against his chest. "Neither of us need to train. We're both the best fighters out there."
"That's a bit over the top, don't you think?" She said as she sat up, the blanket falling down, revealing her bare chest.
She rubbed her eyes gently before standing up, stretching as she made her way over to the dresser, where the two tributes' training clothes were located.
Finnick lifted his head and smirked when she saw her digging in one of the drawers. "You know, if you don't get dressed, I can't promise anything."
Adrienne giggled lightly as she started getting dressed, throwing on her tight training clothes before rushing over to the bed. The girl jumped onto the furniture, landing right on top of her fiancé, who had fallen back asleep while she had her back turned.
He groaned and quickly woke up, chuckling despite his pain. "Ok, I'm up. I'm up."
"Good." She said cheekily before kissing him a quick peck on the lips and standing again. After tossing his clothes to him, she blew him a kiss and left the room, closing the door behind her.
When she got out into the living room, she saw someone standing there, discussing something with Fleurie. Her brows furrowed in confusion as she stepped closer to them, announcing her presence.
"Haymitch?" She questioned, causing both the adults to turn and look at her. "What are you doing here?"
Before he could reply, Finnick came rushing up behind the girl, his hair still a mess. He, too, got confused when he saw the older mentor standing with the escort. "What's going on here?"
The man cleared his throat and stepped forwards slightly. "We need to talk."
