After our breakfast, Craig becomes busy. He said that he has a lot of things to do inside his office so I didn't bother.

That happens for the rest of the week. Hinayaan ko na lang din dahil naging busy na din naman ako sa sariling opisina. The doctor said that Craig is improving. Kasama na din daw doon ang mga pangyayaring hindi niya maalala dahil sa sinapit na aksidente.

A month had passed and Craig is still on his project. Mas madalas ang kanyang paglalagi sa opisina ngayon. Nauuna akong umuwi sa kanya o kaya minsan ay sasabayan naman niya ako. I thought nothing will change but what changed is the things that I thought is impossible to happen.

Nagulat ako nang pumasok ang sariling sekretarya, "Ma'am Megan, andito po si Sir Craig."

Kunot noo akong tumayo at pinagmasdan si Craig na pumasok ng aking opisina. Felicity exited the room right after asking Craig if he wants coffee.

Sa likod ni Craig ang ilang lalaki na medyo pormal. Lumapit ako at awtomatikong humalik naman si Craig sa aking pisngi.

"I want you to meet your new bodyguards." Ani Craig na ikinagulat ko

Nanlaki ang mata ko sa kanya, "What? Ang dami dami ko nang bodyguards."

He shrugs, "I want to make sure that you'll be safe."

Nagkatinginan kaming dalawa. I looked at him with annoyance. Napansin naman niya agad yun at agad na humawak sa aking beywang.

Hindi ako nagpatinag sa kanyang hawak at sinimangutan siya.

"You don't have to worry about them," Aniya

I scoffed, "Really? Yun nga lang limang bodyguards na kasama ko araw araw, sobrang ilang na ilang na ako. Dinagdagan mo pa ng another five?" Humalukipkip ako at umiling.

The bodyguards exited without a word right after Craig ordered them to leave the room.

"You have to understand that what I am doing is for your own sake."

Umirap ako sa kanya. I do understand where is coming from. I know that he just wants to make sure that I will stay alive.

At pati ako natatakot sa mga possibleng mangyari at mas tumitindi ang takot ko dahil sa mga kinikilos niya.

I will understand the bodyguards, three is enough. He wants five, fine. But adding more is not.

"I will understand if you would only tell me what is really happening."

He stares at me with his beautiful eyes, pleading for me to understand the situation.

Hindi siya nagsalita kaya bumalik na lang ako sa upuan ko at nagpatuloy sa pagbabasa ng ilang papeles.

Craig walked in front of me, "You don't have to worry about them because you won't see them. Nasa malayo lang sila at magbabantay sayo."

I sigh in disbelief, "Why? Why do I have to have more bodyguards? Is my life threatened?"

He shook his head in annoyance and bite his lower lip before sitting on my desk.

"No, but you have to remember that your life is at stake here." Aniya

I get that lalo na nang mapatunayan na foul play ang aksidente niya sa kotse at ang aksidente ko sa jetski.

He's still on his investigation and he's just telling me a few things about it.

Alam kong ayaw niya lang mag alala ako sa ibang bagay, ngunit mas gusto kong alam ko para aware ako.

We already fought about this pero hindi ako nanalo sa mga gusto niya.
