Chapter 8

I close my notebook and put all my stuff into my bag. I look at Alex who sits on the other side of the room. She doesn't look back. I hate it when we argue. It all started because the thought I was with Ethan. I was but not in the way she thinks. Alex just jumps to conclusions fast. I texted her asking when we could talk but she never responded to that text. She is mad at me but we will go through it. Natalie sits next to Alex and writes something in her notebook. I wait for the school bell to go off. I want to go home, my head hurts. I look at my watch and see that we still have ten minutes in this class. I gently lay my head on the table. I use my bag as a pillow. I feel an arm wrapping around me. "Hey, baby are you alright?" Luke's voice is calming my head down. "I try to move my head up but my head can't stop pounding when I move it too much. When the school bell rings I stand up and grab my bag. I stand on my toes to kiss Luke. He really helped me when I was out. He grabs my waist and pulls me closer to him. "Never interrupt my fights again. I don't want you to get hurt." Luke says it with a calm but warning tone. Finally, he presses his lips against mine and we share a passionate kiss.

"You guys are so gross. Everywhere I come I see you two kissing" a familiar voice says. Alex. I break free from Luke's grip and turn to Alex. Alex opens her arms and pulls me into a hug. "I'm so sorry. I was just talking to Ethan nothing more." I start to talk. "Don't say anything silly, that is only going to make it worse. I almost forgot why I was mad at you." Alex laughs. "I wasn't." "You scared the hell out of me when I heard you were by the nurse." I begin to laugh and my head hurts again. "Well, my head hurts a lot, thanks to the guys I wanted to help." Alex looks with a  deadly glare in Luke's direction. "I think I'm going home in a bit," I say and Luke carefully grabs my waist again and pulls me closer to him. He hugs me from behind and kisses the back of my head. "Can I drive you home?" He asks. I see Alex and Natalie leaving for there next class. "But I am in my own car and if you bring me home you have to walk." "I will stay at your house until Niall can come and pick me up." "Okay" is all I can say and walk to the exit of the building.

When we enter the parking lot in front of the school I see Ethan his car parked next to mine. I grab my keys out of my bag and open my car. When my car unlocks, I see Ethan's head pops up above his car. He has a little scar under his eyebrow. Why didn't he heal? Luke steps towards Ethan. I stop him before he gets to close. "It is okay guys, there is no reason for a fight," I say. Luke steps into the car. I give him the keys through the window and kiss him on his forehead. I have to walk to the side Ethan's car is parked to step in the car myself. Luke is looking at me through the window. I don't have time for Ethan right now. He did push me against the wall. I will ask him later why he didn't heal. I step into the car and Luke drives away.

When we get home Luke grabs my bag and takes it inside. My dad is working late today and my mom is a weekend away with her friends. She left this morning after I left for school. I walk upstairs and grab a pair of sweatpants out of my closet. Luke walks into my room and lays down on my bed. He smiles at me. I still feel a little bit shy when I have to change in front of him but we have been together for six months now. I take my green mini skirt off and quickly put on my sweatpants. When I see that Luke has a big smile on his face I blush. I grab the remote and lay down next to luke on my bed. I put on the tv and turn down the volume so my head isn't going to hurt that much. Luke wraps his arm around me. I put my head on his chest. I try to match our breathing. His breathing is slow but mine is very fast. My head is pounding. Why does it hurt that much? I feel my eyes closing and I fall asleep.

When I wake up I still lay on Luke his chest. He is sleeping. I stand up and walk to the bathroom to grab a glass of water. I look at my watch and see that it is only one pm. School isn't going to end until three pm so I still have two hours with Luke. Maybe he can stay here until my father comes home. I walk back to my room. Luke is still sleeping. I won't want to wake up Luke. I sit down at my desk and drink up my water. I watch Luke sleeping peacefully. I put the glass on my desk and grab the remote to turn on the Netflix series I'm currently watching. I don't put the volume up to high for Luke. My headache isn't as bad as it was before. I think the nap was a good idea. I feel an arm grab my waist. Luke pulls me on to him and hugs me. I grab his face and kiss him. His arms still wrapped around my waist. He kissed me back and takes control of the kiss. I love it when he does that. I tug my fingers in his black hair. His hands slowly getting lower. He squeezes my hips and rolls me over so he is on top of me. I giggle. Why am I giggling? I grab the hem of his shirt and pull it over his head. He smiles at me and takes my face into his hands and kisses me. He leaves a trail of kisses down from the top of my neck to my collarbone. He stops and gets off of me. "Why are you stopping?" I ask him. He turns his head to me and smiles. "I want our first time to be special." I blush when he mentions that it will be our first time. When I told Alex that Luke and I never have slept with each other before she stared at me and started laughing. She first thought I was telling a joke but when I told her it was real she found it cute that Luke is waiting so long. I really don't care anymore. I want him because I love him. We've been together for six months. He doesn't want it. I grab his shirt and put it over my head. "You look incredibly hot right now," Luke says. I blush again and kiss him on the cheek.

I hear the front door opening. It is seven pm and Luke and I watched Netflix all day. I gave Luke his shirt back as soon as I heard my father come inside. My father takes those sorts of things very weird as he sees me with Luke's clothing, he then thinks that luke is staying at our house. I walk downstairs and greet my father. Luke walked behind me and my dad greets him. "Dad, should I just put some pizza in the oven?" I ask my dad. My dad isn't a good cook. "Okay. Luke can stay over for dinner." my father answers my thoughts. I put the pizza in the oven and wait for it to be done. I sit at the kitchen island. Lukes sits next to me and grabs my hand. "Is it okay if I sleep here tonight because I don't think Niall is going to pick me up late in the evening?" Luke asks me the question and I nod. I am very tired and my head is pounding again. I grab the pizza and bring it to my dad. I put another one in the oven for me and Luke and wait another seven minutes. When those seven minutes are over I take our pizza out of the oven and walk upstairs with Luke. We decide to watch some more Netflix and then go to sleep because we are both tired.
