Luke's POV

"RUN!" She says and the first thing I do is take her hand and run. People look at us, they probably think: why are these people running. My car is parked out of sight in a small parking lot. I open my door and open Maddie's too. She gets in and buckles her seat belt. I also step in, but instead of fastening my seat belt, I start the car and I immediately drive away. Maddie stares unemotional in front of her. Why is this happening now? Couldn't we have had another week to work out our plan? I know I can't drive to Maddie's house because Christopher probably knows where she lives. My house doesn't seem that convenient either, because then my 'foster mother' will ask what is going on. There is only one other place that comes to mind, and I just happen to know that Maddie loves that place.

Maddie's POV

I feel my body weaken. I just don't know what to do anymore and that makes me tired. Luke drives on a road that looks familiar to me. The way to the cabin. I always wanted to go back to the cabin, but not under these circumstances. All I can think about is how Christopher said my name with my father's last name. He knows who I am and that's a bad sign. Luke parks the car and quickly opens my door. Luke has been looking at me with a worried look since we left school. I want to reassure him, but no sound comes out of my mouth. I just started to feel better in my fierce because I now know everything, but because it is all going so fast now, I stand mentally still. I grab my bag from the back seat and walk to the front door of the cabin. Luke opens the door with his key and lets me in first. I immediately sit on the couch and take my phone from my bag. Luke stops me because he sees that I am shaking. "Do you want to call someone?" He asks me. The finite sound coming out of my mouth is, "Olivia." I feel myself getting really dizzy and see it turning black before my eyes.

I wake up to see Luke pacing back and forth. He has a wet cloth in one hand and his phone in the other. "No, Niall. I'm not joking. Come here and take Olivia with you. I think she is the only one who can help her now. " Luke says "Luke," I say. Luke immediately turns around. Within seconds is he already next to me. "Is it going well? Are you OK?" "Yes, I feel a bit better. I am especially very tired. " I say. "I was shocked when you just passed out. I didn't want to lose you. " I smile and get up. "Ho, ho. Quiet. Don't be too quick to do everything again. " Luke is already sounding a little less concerned but there is still something to be heard in his voice. I carefully walk into the kitchen and fill a glass with water. I drink it completely and then sit on the couch again. "You know I was really shocked when he said my name. Especially when he said, Moreau." I say. "What do you think about what I thought." Luke smiles a little and looks outside. "They really aren't here that quickly. You just called them. " I say and I walk back to the kitchen to refill my glass. "Would you like something to eat too?" Luke asks. I shake my head and check my phone. All messages from Olivia.

'Don't take Christopher's class, it's dangerous.' 'Maddie respond! I don't know if I should be worried.' 'MADDIE!' 'Please send some back.' 'Okay, I heard what happened, what did I say.' 'I am now in a car with Niall. He is nice:( See you in a minute.'

That was the last message she'd sent. She just warned me about him. She knew this was coming. I wish I was that strong. Could I have protected myself from Christopher? I text my dad to say I'm with Luke and sleep at Alex' tonight. Of course, my father is very much against this and he starts sending all kinds of things why I should sleep at home. I put my phone away and sit next to Luke. I put my head on his shoulder and slowly fall asleep.

My dream is, as always, a kind of nightmare. I'm in a car with Alex and we're talking about how much fun she has with Ethan. I thought it was strange that we suddenly started talking about that when I didn't even know she was with Ethan at all. He shouldn't tell her anything about the supernatural world. She looks at me for a moment and smiles. I thought the beginning of my dream was quite normal, but after our conversation, she started talking about how nice Mr. Johnson is. "Alex, he can't be trusted," I say. "What? Since when can you not trust teachers and where does this suddenly come from? " Alex responded. "Do you have something to tell me?" Her voice is loud and dark. Huh, how would she know that I am hiding something from her? "No, I just told him something and he told all the teachers. I also think he is a bit of a creepy man." I say quickly before it gets weird. "But Maddie, you thought he was so nice and fun. You were his favorite student until you were suddenly so absent. I was allowed to take your place." The last thing Alex said sounded dark again. She is acting very strange. Alex turns her head to me and smiles at me. She's still the same Alex but something is wrong. Alex keeps smiling at me and doesn't turn her head back to look at the road. "Alex the road!" I say but she keeps looking at me. I see a car coming from the left that is moving very fast. "ALEX, LOOK OUT!" I scream and pull her away from the wheel but it is already too late to hear the two cars touching.
