"Yes, they are," Alex says. Jennys laughs but it sounds nervous. "I just remembered, I have to go," she says and stands up. Without saying anything other she leaves. "Well, that was weird. It was nice seeing her again." Alex just talks. She is happy. I like seeing her that way. We all finish our food but we order another drink. I have a small and quick vision of Niall and Luke at my house. In the vision, the sun was setting. So they are coming tonight. Alex doesn't stop talking and just tells about how she got in the cheer team. Oh no. The cheer team. "Hey, do you know if I made it. I haven't looked." I ask her. "Yes, we all did. I'm so happy about it." Alex says. "I didn't know you also auditioned Natalie." "Yes, I did. Sorry for not telling you." "No, it's fine." Natalie chuckles. "So, Olivia, were are you from?" Alex asks Olivia. "Call me Liv." "Okay, Liv." "I'm from New York." "I knew it." We all laugh. "Who is going to bring me back home?" Alex randomly asks. "I will," Natalie says and she stands up. We all pay for our own food and we walk back to our cars. I hug Alex and say goodbye. Olivia also hugs both of my friends and steps into the car. Alex is also already in Natalie's car. "Tell me if you need my help with something," Natalie says and she hugs me.

Olivia and I arrive back home and I see that my dad's car isn't in the driveway. "Where is he?" I ask Olivia. "Oh, he was being lazy and just laying on the couch. So I convinced him it's better for him and you if he just went to work." "You have a great influence on him." "Some people say I have that on a lot of people." I'm tired but I know I can't take a nap. I have to talk about Christopher with Luke and Niall. Olivia opens the door and walks directly to the kitchen. It is nice that she has her own key. That way I don't have to pick her up and bring her everywhere. "Do you want some water?" Olivia asks me. "No thanks. I'm going to call Luke and Niall." "Why?" "I have to talk with them about our new friend." "You mean Christopher?" "Yes, and I have the feeling that the wolves are going to kill him as soon as possible." "Yeah, probably." "Why did I tell her." "You were just telling your friends and trying to protect them." "I know." I hug Olivia and then walk upstairs so I can call Luke in private. I don't have secrets that I don't tell Olivia. I just hate it if people are listening to my private conversations. I dial Luke.

"Luke's phone." I immediately recognize that this is Niall and not Luke. "Where is Luke?" I ask. "He is fine, just drinking some blood outside." "Can you say that I'm calling him and have to talk to him?" "Yes, I can, but will I?" "Niall, just give Luke his phone back." "Yes, you boring. I'm not going to finish that sentence." "You better not." Niall starts laughing and I hear him open some doors and after a few seconds, I hear some birds. "Luke, your grumpy girlfriend is calling you." "Don't call her that," Luke says. "Maddie, what's up?" he asks. "Just wanted to talk to you about Christopher and what we are going to do about it." "He is still a person you know. He is not an object." "He is planning on kidnapping me and using me for my powers. I can call him it if I want to." "No, but when do you want to talk?" "I don't know, maybe you and Niall can stop by or I will come to your house?" "We will stop by, tonight." "Okay, see you soon." I hang up and see Olivia standing outside my room. Why didn't I close that door?

"Is Niall coming?" Olivia asks. "Yes, why do you want to know?" "Just wanted to know." she turns around and walks away. I have a feeling inside me that I need to Invite Natalie and Ethan over. Something in me tells me that we have to form some sort of team to defend me and my cousin. I decide to text them.

'Hey, Nat. We have to talk about the killing machine in Maryville. You know Christopher. Tonight my place.'

'Ethan, I know we haven't talked in a while except for that small talk in the parking lot today but we have to talk about Christopher. Come over tonight.'

The messages are sent and I hope they show up tonight. I only saw Luke and Niall in my small vision but I hope they all come. I think Ethan isn't going to show up and if he does maybe Niall and Luke are going to argue with him. I hope they don't but I can't control them. I forgot something very important. My dad. He is coming home soon. I don't want him to know what is going on and he doesn't have to be involved. How am I going to get rid of him? I mean not killing him but just send him away for a night. I can't call mom for a favor because she is a liar. I don't trust her anymore. She lives with that other man. She just left and said nothing. "Liv, I need your help," I say and walk to her room. Olivia as always is just dressed in her normal clothing. With that, I mean a dress, heels, and a ton of jewelry. "Olivia why can't you just do normal clothing on?" "Why?" "Yes, why?" "I like dressing up and doing my hair. Can I choose your outfit tomorrow?" "Maybe." I hope she does it. I will look stunning. "What did you need me for?" "My dad is going to be home soon and I just invited two vampires and one werewolf here. O and don't forget a witch." "That isn't a good combo." "I know so how will I get my dad out of the house tonight?" "You want me to take him out, right?" "I don't know." "I will do that but you have to tell me everything after that group talk." "I will." I hug her. "Thank you so much."

Olivia convinced my dad that they needed to have dinner together. She wanted him to know the whole story. About her mom and Marion. How she threatened her and her mother. I know the story but he doesn't. He knows about his killed sister but not his other sister. So he agreed with Olivia and went to dinner with her. Now I'm here, waiting for the guys to come here. I made a salad for myself. I'm stressing out. I can barely eat my salad. I hear the doorbell ring. I walk to the door and only see one person. Did Niall not come? I open the door and see it's Ethan. "Hey, great you came," I say and let him in. "I need to tell you tho, Luke and Niall are coming to." "Serious, I thought you wanted to talk, and then the wolves can make a plan." "We need to work together, this man is already 500 years and very smart. He will know when the wolves will attack and just kill you all." "Maybe you're right but you have to know wolves don't work with vampires." "Even not for the same goal?" "We don't have the same goal. Our goal is to get rid of all the vampires in Maryville." "Yup, not the same goal." I sigh and grab a glass of water. "Do you want anything?" I ask Ethan but he doesn't respond.

Another ring at the doorbell tells me Luke and Niall are here. I open the door and let them in. "What the hell is that wolf doing here?" Luke says "Please do not argue." "I told him to stay away from you and that we could protect you." "Keep your mouth shut, nothing here is keeping me from giving you a sweet but painful werewolf bite," Ethan says and his face is turned from man to some animal. He doesn't look like it but his expression. "Oh, you sure about that," Niall says and he takes a huge silver stake out of the inside pocket of his jacket. "Why did you take that with you?" I say and try grabbing it out of his hands. "I take it everywhere with me since you talked with the wolves I had the feeling this was going to happen." "Nothing is going to happen." "He just threatened me." Niall steps forward. Ethan and Niall are now dangerously close. "Stop it," Luke says and grabs Niall his shoulder to let hem step back but instead of doing that Niall shrugs his hand off his shoulder and steps even closer to Ethan. "You know I will use it," Niall says. "You wouldn't even try." Ethan dares him. That was Niall's call. Niall his fist connects with Ethan his jaw and Ethan directly punches back. "Stop it," I say but they don't listen. The door flies open and Natalie steps inside. In her hand, a beautiful potion bottle filled with some grey powder. She takes some of it and throws it on Niall. Niall just falls on the ground and doesn't move anymore. "What did you do to my brother?" Luke says. "He was fighting and I don't like that. I'm here now Maddie." Natalie says calmly. I look at her and look at Niall. "Thanks," Ethan says and he stands up. Niall was beating him up and Ethan was losing. "Never get into a fight if you don't have the full moon to support you." "I know, but still thanks, Natalie," Ethan says. She smiles and turns to me. "He is fine in a couple of hours. Just some ashes that paralyze him." "Nat, I appreciate you stopped them but it couldn't be humbler?" "Maybe, but this is much more fun." "It is fun seeing him on the ground." "He can still hear you, he only can't move." Natalie and I laugh. "There is nothing to laugh about Maddie, tell us why did you all call us here?"
