"For those just tuning in, as you can see behind me, the building has become engulfed in flames. While most had managed to escape with minor burns, there are reports that there are still people trapped inside. Those with water quirks are trying desperately to aid the fire department in controlling the fire in order to initiate the rescue, but alas, have had no such luc-, wait." The reporter was cut short from an explosion of fire followed by a scream so evil.

The camera pans around the building trying to find the source of the scream when a couple races past the reporter yelling. The camera follows the couple.

"Please! You have to stop her! She'll only make it worse!" The woman cried as the man held her back from getting closer. The police try to push them back, but the woman broke free from the man and grabbed the officer by his shirt.

"Do something! She'll turn everything and everyone to ash if you don't!."

"Ma'am, I need you to calmly explain what you're talking about."

The man speaks up. "It's our daughter. Her quirk is very sensitive and she has such a hard time keeping it together. She has zero control. But she would never harm anyone intentionally. If we could just try, we might be able to get her to stop." The wife looks at him as if he has lost it.

The officer sighs. "Alright, but if things get out of hand, we have another option." He gestures to a nearby officer loading a gun with a tranquilizer. He radios to his partners and they carefully escort the couple to the perimeter of the building.

"Hazaezal? Honey, let's just calm down alright." The man says kindly. "I know things must be pretty scary right now, but remember heroes don't hurt innocents."

"Wait, I see someone!" The reporter yells. The camera focuses on an area where the flames recede on the upper floors. There she was, a bright ball of fire.

"Mom? Dad?" She calls out, her voice filled with pain.

They wave to her. "Hazaezal! You need to stop this, this instant!" The mother scolds.

She falls to her knees, holding her head in her hands.

"I can't keep doing this. H-" She says something out of earshot.

"I can't hear her." The cameraman complains.

The reporter says clearly frustrated. "Then get the drone!"

Her dad speaks, "It's okay honey. I'm sure it was just a misunderstanding."

"But da-!"

"Hazaezal!" The woman reprimands. "That is enough! Think of how you are being perceived, how we are being perceived!" Her tone harsh and lacking empathy.

She stays silent as the flames begin to grow smaller. The heat is less intense than before. The flames surrounding her bare body disappear as if her energy depleted. She begins to stand up straight, ready to come down when an object zooms past her head, startling her. It steadies on her.

"Miss, did you mean to burn down the building?" A voice speaks from the speaker. "Was it your intention to burn your fellow classmates and teachers, or was it merely an accident?"
