What happens when you fall in love with someone you're not supposed to? Everything about it is so wrong, but so right. The secrets, the sex, the love...all worth it. But to what extent?
"That's Mr. Kim to you." he snatched the book from my hands and walked behind his desk. "Just.." he put his fingers to his scrunched forehead and closed his eyes. "Go back to you seat."
I did as he said and walked back to my chair. The way he got mad earlier definitely caught my attention and I wanted to see more.
"Sorry about that everyone," he started. He wrote his name on the whiteboard. Kim Seokjin. "I will be your new English teacher for the rest of the year. A little bit about myself. I just graduated college with my bachelors degree so I'm not that much older than you, I am only 23. I hope all of you will help me by listening to me and following my rules."
I crossed my arms and scoffed. Literally a few minutes ago he was yelling and throwing things like a psycho, and now he has his hands folded neatly in front of him and he smiled so calmly. "I understand that Miss Day was in the middle of reading different types of poetry. Let's see," he scanned the reading list that Miss Day left for him so the rest of us wouldn't fall behind or learn something different. "The next couple of weeks we will be reading poetry that pertains to fear." He turned his back to us and started writing the page numbers we would be reading in our book.
I leaned into my desk and tapped the shoulder of the guy sitting in front of me. He turned around and I extended my hand out for him to give his book. He was hesitant but I leaned more forward, pushing my breasts together making them look bigger. He slightly opened his mouth and his eyes widened. He willingly was about to hand me his book until Mr. Mean spoke.
"If you need a book, y/n" his back still facing us. The guy in front of me turned around taking his book away from me. How did he know? "Come to the front and grab one. Miss Day has a lot of copies here." After he finished writing down the pages he turned around and grabbed a spare book from his desk drawer and held it out for me, waiting for me to walk up to the front of the class to grab it. I sighed and got up from my seat. I was starting to regret coming to class. I walked up to Mr. Kim and our staring contest began again. I refused to lose. The more closer I got to him to more lower his head got but he never broke eye contact, and his eyes got more and more dark. When I got within reaching distance I extended my hand out to grab the book from his hand. I grabbed the book letting my fingers lightly smooth over his hand, and I slightly bit my lips. He made no movement, not even a slight flinch. I stood in place after getting my book and I stared him down. Then...he slightly raised one eyebrow and smirked at me. I lost this contest....
My eyes opened wide and I grabbed my book to cross it over my chest and I hurriedly walked back over to my seat. I was quietly panting as I was trying to catch my breath from the intense rapid pace my heart was beating. He's been catching me off guard since he first spoke to me and it was starting to annoy me. But it was also very intriguing.
"We will be reading these poems in class and for homework, I want all of you to write the meaning behind each of the poems. I want these handed in on my table before class tomorrow. NO," he stared directly at me. "Exceptions." I smiled sarcastically at him and put my sunglasses back on leaning back on my chair. The rest of class he finally ignored me and I was able to do my usual thing and ignore the whole entire session. When the bell rang all of the students filed out one by one and I was the last one to leave. I already got a text from Jimin that he's waiting for me. Just as I was about to walk out of class Mr. Kim stopped me.
"You have detention this weekend y/n, your friend can join you too." I kept my back facing him and all I could see was the hallway where all of the students were gathering their things to go home. I scrunched my forehead in anger.
"Why." I flatly said.
"Well," I heard him get up from his chair. "Miss Day is a good friend of mine, you see. And she told me that when she saw you and your friend as she was leaving, you were both high. So there's that. Not to mention you were being completely disrespectful in class. I'm pretty sure I won't have to explain why." I heard the heels of his dress shoes click the floor as I could sense him coming closer to me.
I scoffed and poked the inside of my cheek with my tongue. "You may find it hard to believe that I have never gotten detention from any of my teachers before."
"Oh, I know. All of the teachers here know your little secret, Y/N. But you see, I don't care." Not realizing how close he is to me, I felt the warmth of his breath hit the back of my neck and it sent shivers down my spine.
He lowly whispered, "You have detention this weekend, Miss Y/N...and I will be the one to watch you."
