Mind - Jin || Completed

Ch9

I slowly turned my head to see Jin standing over our table, all smiles. All of the anger I was feeling was so strong, I felt I like I couldn't hear anything. I'm assuming he introduced himself to my mom when they shook hands with each other. Of all the places he could eat, why is he here? Please go home, please leave me alone. 

"Y/n?" my mom snapped me out of my daze. "Your teacher is here, shouldn't you say hello?"

"Hi." I coldly said and looked away. 

"Don't mind her, she has had a long and stressful day. Would you care to join us for dinner?" 

I snapped my head back to my mom and gave her a stare hoping she would retract what she just said. Luckily Jin politely said, "Oh, thank you but I actually have to get back to my place. There's still some papers I need to finish grading. It was nice meeting you Ms.Choi." he turned his head to me and I slowly looked up at him. "Y/n, I will see you in class tomorrow, hopefully." He smiled and turned for the door.

Once he was out of sight my mom proceeded to tease me again. "Was that him? Oh, he's very handsome!"

I could feel my face flush with embarrassment. "Shut up, mom."

"He seemed nice, I can't imagine him being cold towards anyone."

I scoffed. "Yeah just wait until you get on his bad side. He could be nice and in a split second he's mean. It's like he has two personalities."

"So which do you like better, Jekyll or Hyde?"

I furrowed my eyebrows at that question but slightly laughed. "I've really only seen Hyde. I haven't seen the Jekyll side of him that much yet so I can't make a decision. But I definitely don't like his evil personality, so I might like Jekyll more." 

After dinner, we headed home and I went in my room for the remainder of the night. I finished whatever homework I had left and arranged for someone to pick it up for me and drop it off to my teachers. I texted Jimin after.

Me: Hey...do you want to ditch school tomorrow? Just come over here. I don't feel like going tomorrow.

Jiminie: Oh..I would but I was actually going to meet up with the guys after school to play basketball. You should come!

Me: I didn't know you talked to them after detention

Jiminie: Yeah after we all had dinner I exchanged numbers with Jungkook and we were talking then it led them to asking me to hang out tomorrow after school. But if you want to stay home I can stay with you and I'll just leave when the times comes??

Me: No no, don't worry. I'll just go to last class as usual. I don't want you to do so much work to hang out with me and them. I'll go with you tomorrow too 😊

Jiminie: Yay! I'll see you tomorrow then. Good night 😘

I set my alarm to wake up in the afternoon and then I went to bed.

Since Jimin and I didn't go to our usual spot when we would ditch classes I was able to sleep in a little more and when it came time to wake up I decided to take my time in getting ready. After getting out of the shower I wore my black lace bra and matching panties. Over it, I put on my white button up uniform and a black pleated skirt that went a little above my knees. I left one button undone on my shirt and put my loose tie over, and put on all navy blue cardigan. The school is a little more lenient on our uniforms, as long we represent red and blue in some way, so I put on dark red matte lipstick. I curled my hair in loose curls and then I put on some ankle socks and black ankle boots. 

I grabbed some coffee that my mom left me and put it in a thermos. I got into my car and headed for school to take the last class of the day. The teachers in the administration saw me walk in. I gave them a little bow and they all gave me disappointing looks. But those looks made me feel powerful, because they can't get me in trouble. Although there is one annoying teacher who doesn't care.
