Mind - Jin || Completed

Ch21

All of us gathered on Taehyung's couch while some of them played video games. I thought right now would be the perfect moment to ask them about spring break.

"So do you guys have anything planned for break?" I asked.

They all shook their heads.

"You do now." Hoseok paused the game and they all looked at me. "We're all going to be spending spring break at my cabin!"

All of their faces lit up and smiles were spread across their faces. 

"Really?! That's so nice of you, Y/n!" Yoongi exclaimed.

"Well this is our last year of high school for most of us and I wish I had met you guys sooner. So with the time we have left I wanted to make the most of it." I smiled.

Being too excited, they all stopped playing their game and we all sat in a circle so we could plan out what we're going to do.

"It's a cabin with four bedrooms so we're all going to have to pair up except for one." I said.

"I call noona!" Jungkook raised his hand.

I chuckled. "I'm sorry Kookie, I will be the one to sleep in the separate bedroom."

"Aw." he pouted.

"Get over it Jungkook." Taehyung put his arm around him. "Y/n is taken already. She was asking me about relationship advice, remember?"

"Oh yeah." Jungkook softly said.

I continued. "So I figure Yoongi and Taehyung will take a room together. The rest of you can decide who will pair up with who."

"Sounds good to me." Taehyung said.

"There's also a lake next to the cabin so we can swim there. And there's a little village not too far from it so we can go down there to eat and explore."

"How come your boyfriend isn't coming?" Namjoon asked.

"Yeah, Y/n," Jimin teased. "Why isn't your boyfriend coming?"

I gave him a sarcastic smile. "Well, he already made plans with his family before we even started dating so I'm not going to make him change his plans."

"So he'll be okay that you're spending all week with us six guys?" Namjoon asked.

"Of course." I had to think about that for a second. "He's not the jealous type."

After finalizing our plans for next week, I had decided to go home before dinner. I said goodbye to everyone and drove the twenty minute drive to my house. 

I was still thinking about what Jin said to me earlier and the advice of Taehyung. I decided that I can't make a decision until I tell him what's on my mind. I called him on my car bluetooth. One ring barely passed when he picked up.

"Hey you." he answered.

"Were you looking at your phone this whole time?" I laughed. "It barely rang."

He chuckled. "I'm nervous, okay? As soon as I saw you calling I got too excited." 

I giggled. "I'm nervous too. I figured out why I can't make my decision. There's something I need to talk to you about first."

"Do you...want to come over and we can talk about it?"

I smiled. "For real? I can come over now?"

"Yeah." I heard the happiness in his voice. "I miss you."

"O-okay, I'll be right there."

We hung up the phone and he texted me the directions to his place. Trying to be cautious I decided to park a block away so no one can see my car in his driveway.

When I found his house, I drove around to find a parking spot. Luckily I had a hoodie so when I got out of the car I put it on and put the hood over my head so no one can see who I am.

I arrived at Jin's front door and I knocked lightly. I waited for a few seconds when I saw his shadow approaching the door. As soon as he opened it I rushed inside and took my hood off.

He chuckled. "Secret, much?"

I smirked at him. "Can't be too careful."

"Of course." he took my bag and waited for me to take off my shoes. "Come, I'll show you around."

I was in awe of his whole house. It has a modern look with white walls and and bright white lights. The stairs were black with white railings and his floor was a brown and white marbling tile. 

"Wow, your place is amazing!" 

"Thanks. If you like this I think you'll like the kitchen."

He took my hand in his and led me into the kitchen. There was a big middle island table with a counter big enough to prepare three meals.

"Jin, your kitchen is as big as my bedroom. How did you afford all of this?"

"I've been saving up for awhile. When I got  job as a teacher I was able to save up faster and I bought this house." 

"I can't believe you've been hiding this from me." I teased.

"Well you'll be able to come over whenever you want now." he turned to look at me and smiled.

I gulped and smiled. "Right."

Jin grabbed a couple water bottles from the fridge and took us to his living room.

"So what did you want to talk about?" he asked when he sat down on his couch.

I snuggled into his arm as he put it over me and I rested my head on his shoulder. "It's about what you asked me this afternoon."

"Oh, right. You said you wanted to talk to me about something before you make your decision. What is it?"

"It's about the secret we have. I don't want any of us to feel like a burden to each other because we have to keep our relationship a secret. If we make it more official then I want to know that us hiding it won't be a problem."

"If I thought our secret would be a problem for either of us, I wouldn't have asked you to be my girlfriend." Jin said softly making me look up at him. "I really like you, y/n. I don't want to be with anyone else. I just want to be with you."

I sweetly smiled at him and leaned my head to give a soft kiss. 

"And," Jin continued. "When you go off to college, I am going to find another teaching position."

"But...but the school is the top high school in the city. I couldn't let you give up an opportunity like that."

"It's okay. There's plenty of schools I can teach at. It doesn't matter how good the school is, as long as I am doing something I love, which is teaching. If I go to another school next year then we can make our relationship public and we can just hide the fact that you were once my student."

"You really think we'll make it until I go to college?"

Jin smiled and kissed my forehead. "I do. Everyday with you I fall for you more and more."

I felt the butterflies return and I couldn't be more happier. "Yes."

"Hmm? Yes, what?"

I giggled and kissed his cheek.

"Yes, I'll be your girlfriend."
