Jin POV

It's been a couple of hours since I saw what happened with Y/n and the headmaster. I've been sitting at my desk since then just thinking about it. Luckily I only have classes for the last part of the day so I won't be too distracted from being distracted. I really wish there was something I could do to help her get into college. A student shouldn't be held back from their potential despite how they act on the outside, it's what they bring is what the makes the person. And with her grades and from what I've asked her other teachers, she's a lot smarter than people give her credit for.

I was in the middle of trying to grade my papers and plan my lesson when I heard a knock on the door. I looked up and was surprised to see who it was. "Mr. Park. What can I do you for?"

Jimin walked inside and closed the door behind him. He was fidgeting with the straps of his backpack as if he was nervous. "I wanted to ask you about...Y/n"

"Sure, I'll tell you as much as I can. There is a student/teacher confidentiality." I motioned for him to take a seat on the chair across my desk. He put his backpack next to it and sat down.

"I don't know why, considering the things she tells me, but this is the only class that she has been to consecutively this past week. Frankly, I'm a little surprised she's still coming to school today after what happened this morning. When I asked her if she wanted to skip the rest of the day she was insistent about coming to your class. So...I was wondering," I gulped waiting to hear the rest of the sentence, nervous he might have found out about me and her. "If there was something you can do to help get her into college." I widened my eyes at his request. "If she's coming just to this class all of the time even though she doesn't like you very much, there must be something you're doing right."

I felt a little accomplished on the inside. But this isn't about me. I cleared my throat. "I'm not sure what there is for me to do, Mr.Park. From what I heard this morning, the headmaster pretty much refused for her to go to university because of her attitude."

"How do you know what they talked about? Were you listening?"

I cleared my throat again. "N-no. I heard them yelling as I was passing by so I heard some things."

"Oh." Jimin leaned back in his chair and crossed his arms. He scrunched his lips to the side and looked out the window when he muttered, "I got in, and I'm the exact way as her."

I looked at him confused. "You don't know?"

He looked at me just as confused. "Know what?"

I shut my lips into a thin line. "Nothing, nevermind. Look," quickly changing the subject, "When you both applied, did you apply for any scholarships?"

"Nope. Our grades are good enough and both of our parents already have the money saved up for us so we didn't think it was necessary."

"Alright." I crossed my hands until my chin. "Give me until this weekend to figure something out. I think I might be able to find a scholarship for her, you as well if you would like it."

"For real?" his eyes sparkled at my suggestion. "Thank you Mr.Kim! If you're able to find something me and Y/n will both be very grateful. I can't imagine university without her."

"You two are really close, huh?"

"Yeah! We've been bestfriends since we were kids. We planned our whole life together, even after college when we both find other people to spend our lives with."

"So...when you guys kiss, it's just a friendly kiss?"

"Well," he looked down and I saw him smirking a little. "Sometimes friendly, sometimes not."
