"No."
"Yes!" We all shouted.
"No!"
"Yoongi, come on don't be scared!" I yelled out to him.
"Easy for you to say, you haven't done this yet!"
"And I promise I'll go next after you!"
Yoongi crouched down with his hands in his face, scared of what he has to do. He took in deep breaths and then he looked up. He started swinging back and forth and when he was able to, he yelled, like a war cry, and leaped into the air. He held onto his legs and made a big cannonball right into the lake.
"Woo! Yeah!" We all cheered for him.
When we woke up this morning and after I got off the phone with Jin, we all wanted to head out to the lake that's next to the cabin. Upon arriving I found a tire swing attached to a tree. Of course we had to swing into the lake. We played a game of rock, paper, scissors to see who would go first and Yoongi lost. It took him ten minutes to finally jump into the lake but he did it.
We waited for him at the end of the dock while Taehyung held a towel for him.
Namjoon extended his hand out to him to help him get out and Yoongi grabbed on to it.
"So, what is it fun?" Namjoon asked.
Yoongi tried to hide the playful smile creeping up on his face. Instead he just tried to act cool and shrugged. "It was okay."
I laughed. "Yeah right. I see the corner of your lips curling. You can't hide that you had fun."
He chuckled. "Fine, it was fun. Next time my Taehyung is coming with me."
Taehyung blushed and giggled. "Of course."
"Alright, y/n. It's your turn." Yoongi said wrapping the towel around him.
I smugly smiled and walked over to the tire swing. I swung it back and forth and then I stood on it, waiting for my chance to jump in. When I was close to the lake I screamed and jumped off, splashing into the water.
When I reached the water surface I heard the cheers from the other guys and their footsteps running to the dock waiting for me.
I couldn't help but feel so happy with how my life is going right now. A couple months ago I would have never thought that it would be like this. I spent every day dreading going to school. I still don't like it and find it pointless but now I go so I can see Jin. But I also go so I can see my friends. I find myself smiling to myself when I think about having friends other than Jimin.
It's been the two of us for so long I forgot what it's like to have other people. I've grown to really care for these guys and it makes me wish that I met them long ago. After this year, who knows if I'll see them again. I wanted to make the most of it.
I swam up to the dock and reached for Jimin's hand. I ringed out the extra water from my hair and then wrapped a towel around me. We watched the other guys jump into the water and we ended up spending the whole afternoon there until the sun went down.
"You know what I think we should do? Let's have an old fashioned camp fire!" I suggested.
All of the other guys agreed and we headed back into our cabin so Jimin and I could change our clothes and head to the market to grab what we need to make smores.
Jimin and I went into his car and drove up to the village.
"I'm really glad we did this." Jimin said.
We got a small basket and started walking up and down the aisles to find our things.
"Me too! It's too bad it's ending soon."
