Jin POV
It's been two weeks since that crazy night...since I went crazy and almost beat y/n's dad to death. After that night I called Aiden and explained the situation to him. He and Rachel gladly welcomed me into their home until I was able to get everything situated. I promised y/n I would update her whenever I could but Aiden and Rachel have taken my phone away for most hours of the day so I don't try and get sucked back in to my normal life. I needed a new normal. Aiden was able to find a good therapist for me and today would be my first session.
I walked downstairs after getting ready for the day and I smelled coffee and eggs coming from the kitchen.
"Good morning." I greeted Rachel and Aiden.
"Morning, Jin!" Rachel replied while carrying her baby. She put her down in her baby chair and poured me a cup of coffee. "How are you feeling?"
"I feel a little nervous. It's my first therapy session, so I don't know how it will be. I've been avoiding it for so long I don't want to seem like a lost cause." I said.
"You're not a lost cause." Aiden said. "You're already taking a huge step in accepting help. Dr.Park is one of the best therapists I know. I know you'll be getting a lot of help."
I lightly smiled and I took out my phone. I wanted to shoot y/n a quick good morning message so she knows I'm doing okay.
Rachel took my phone away before I could though. "You need to focus on your therapy session. I'll keep this for safe keeping."
I sighed. "I appreciate you guys looking out for me these last two weeks but I need to let my girlfriend know that I'm doing okay."
"Who is she, by the way?" Aiden asked.
I wasn't ready to tell them the truth yet. "I still want to keep it a secret."
"Maybe if she's a secret then maybe she's not worth it." Rachel said under her breath.
"What was that?" Aiden asked.
"Nothing." Rachel smiled and started feeding the baby.
I shrugged it off and finished eating my breakfast. After, Aiden took me to my session. He took me to an office not too far from the pharmacy he works at.
"I'll be here in about an hour after your'e done with your session. We'll get some lunch." Aiden told me as I was getting out of the car.
"Sounds good." I closed the door and waved at him through the window.
I walked into the office building and looked at the board with all of the office numbers to find where my therapist would be. I walked into the elevator and went up to the third floor. I walked down the hallway and found his office at the end. I lightly knocked on the door and waited for an answer.
He opened it confidently and greeted me with a smile. "Hello! Kim Seokjin?"
I cleared my throat. "Yes, Dr.Park. Nice to meet you."
"Please, call me Chanyeol. I want to break down that barrier of unfamiliarity. Please," he gestured to a couch sitting in front of his seat. "Have a seat, Seokjin."
I sighed out feeling some of nerves escaping from me. I sat down on the couch and smiled. "Since we're breaking down barriers, you can call me Jin."
"Alright, Jin." He sat down in his chair and crossed his legs. He put a notepad over his knee and readied his pen. "So what I like to do is get to know my patients a little more before trying to dive deeper. But this is your time. Whatever you want to say or do, I am all ears."
